[Shiro is nice enough to wait until after all the dreamtroubles to pose this question to the network.]

Just curious, but how many of you here have jobs? A lot of stuff is free, so nobody really has to do anything, but it seems like it'd get boring if there wasn't work to do every day.

[he may or may not be debating doing some real work, after two weeks of being lazy.]

[Shiro doesn't tend to go out and party every night, because it really defeats the purpose of partying. But he'll definitely make time for it every couple weeks or so.]

[ And another pause. It's a surprised look that would greet Shiro that melts into a grin before the boy finally laughs. ]

Blimey, isn't that a miracle! You're really Shiro? You're Yuki's father then? He must be chuffed seeing you back here.

[He's a little surprised too, though he really needs to stop being so surprised, his kids were here long before he was and made tons of friends. He soon lets out a laugh before answering.]

'Chuffed' doesn't do it justice. I thought he was going to shoot me the first time he saw me.

[ And have a very small laugh, sighing as he shook his head a bit. ]

He's a bit on edge ever since he came back... Wasn't that high strung the last time...

Probably a lot happened back home.

[He says 'probably' because he has no way of knowing what actually happened.]

[ He can't help but bite his lower lip. Rin told him everything the first time around, told him how Satan had actually overcome the boy and used his body as a vessel. ]

Quite a bit, yeah...

[ There's a pause though. ]

Course, can't help but wonder... he didn't remember me when he came back.

[ And a laugh. ]

But as I said, fair fortune, eh? At least the two of you can talk again!

Maybe he's the other Yukio...

[He says this in a musing tone, as if he had been speaking to himself rather than to Ronald. But then Ronald gets his attention and he's paying attention again.]

Heh, he'd never go that long without talking to me, if he could help it.

Other... Yukio...? You mean this one...

[ This one isn't the Yuki he knew? The Yuki he used to have lunch with, bother at the clinic, the one whose windowsill he used to sit at whenever he was in trouble... it's a little heartbreaking but well, here he is back at square one. The heartbreak shows for the smallest second before he reels it back in though and keeps his smile. ]

Could've sworn I detected a bit of hero worship every time he talked about you. Anyroad, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mister Fujimoto. Yuki's told me a lot about you.

[Don't think he missed that, Ronald. And his eyebrow, it is twitching. He won't go messing around in Yukio's private life, but he is suspicious.]

Before you get your panties in a twist, it's not for certain that there's two Yukios or Rins or whatever. I compared memories with a friend of mine who is here, and we remember certain events differently. It's possible there's two very similar worlds, but there's no way of knowing if that's true or if some other force is messing with our memories.

[ !! It was one thing when Rin figured it out but Shiro...? That's a completely different story. He isn't ready to announce his intentions just yet specially since the one those intentions are directed to doesn't exactly know him the same way anymore.

More throat clearing and tie adjusting before he settles himself back down. ]

Ah yeah, a friend of mine from home's one of those who doesn't remember the last time they were here... My boss remembers though! But that... that's a bit off the wall if you ask me...

Can it affect memories like that?

M'not really sure... heard it's got a hand in whatever they use to bring us in here. Buggered if I know though what the real answer is.

'Course, if that's what brings us in then it's prolly what decides what memories we keep and all.

If that's the case, then it's probably involved in the whole memory business.

[Tough luck Ronnie, you have to win Yukio's heart all over again.]

Still have no bleeding clue why we're brought here or how. S'not like anyone's being open about the criteria and all...

[Shiro deals with all-powerful beings pretty often, so he knows all too well how often they do things 'for the lols'.]

That's probably why they have the curses too.

[ The look on his face. It's a cross between confusion and annoyance. ]

It wouldn't be the first time humanity has been made into someone's plaything.

Doesn't seem to be just humanity included in this game though.

I noticed that there were some other species here.

[The trolls are kind of hard to miss.]

You'd be surprised. Not everyone here's human though they prolly look it.

I've already discovered trolls, reapers, and weapons. I wonder what else could be out there.

[Demons don't count, he knew about them before he came to Vatheon.]
