[When the video flickers on, it's set next to one bare grey foot. There's a voice quietly humming, and a shift knocks the SFC to give a better view.

Mituna's sitting on one of the steeper parts of the island's coast, holding a large conch shell to his ear as he hums along to the tune he can hear inside it. He's looking out over the sea, eyes fixed on the horizon, the blustery wind whipping his hair up.

The tide is coming in, just visible in the corner of the video, but if he thinks that's a problem, he's not moving. It's just as likely that he hasn't actually noticed.]

[Well that's a little unexpected.]

What don't you like about it?

[He flexes his fingers again, slowly.]

Feelth funny.

Well yeah, it has to heal.

[helmetdoesnothing]

Hmph.

[He curls his fingers in and holds them close to his chest.]

[Still not really sure how to deal with people being nice to him.]

It's no trouble. Just be sure not to get dirt in 'em until they're all healed up.

[It shouldn't take more than a couple days, so Mituna should be fine, so long as he doesn't pick at the bandages.]

It is, isn't it? That's what happens when there's not as many people around.

I like it.

[His eyes shut, and he sways a little as the wind blows against him, whipping his hair up out of his face. When it's quiet around him, his mind isn't so loud.]

[Of course the weird troll would like the quiet. Of course.

But Shiro didn't blame him, sometimes it got too loud down in the city. And it felt crowded, not so much because of the people there but moreso because they lived in a dome and Shiro always had this feeling like they were going to be crushed.

So he'll nod in agreement with Mituna, but he'll let the quiet linger for a bit as he packs up his suppies, since Mituna did just say he likes the quiet.]

[Weird? Mituna's not weird, he's-- alright, he's pretty weird, but you've seen the other trolls, right? There are weirder ones than him.

Sometimes the noise and the crowds just becomes too much. Mituna is easily startled, easily wound up and when things are always moving and changing it's sometimes hard to cope. Back before the event that caused his problems, before his death, before the game, maybe things were different.

He doesn't remember back that far.

After a few moments of listening to Shiro moving around, he opens one eye - the blue one - and watches him with one barely visible pupil.]

[Shiro knows he's being watched, but he doesn't look over to Mituna quite yet. Instead he finishes putting away his things as he speaks.]
