23 ♐ Video ♐ Casually ignore wound
[See Darkleer. See Darkleer without his glasses for once and his hair pulled back into a thick braid! See Darkleer also kind of bleeding somewhat from the arm.]
[Yeah that might be a problem. It seems he's on the beach and dress appropriately for the location, if not the weather. Tight swimming trunks cling to his legs, and what appears to be the bite mark of a shark is on one muscular arm. He doesn't seem much bothered by it- in fact, there's just the occasional wince as he pulls a tooth out. Just one more scar to add to what seems like a collection of them. Also noticeable would be a pendant that seems to be hanging around his throat... Hm.]
I've been meaning to ask this, but my schedule has been rather full up until now.
[Translation: I've been focusing on all my robots like a workaholic freak and trying to hide from weird romance problems.]
However, right now I have a bit of time while I'm working on something on the island. [In the water, more correctly, but details.] Would anyone be interested in learning basic medical skills? For example, how to assist someone who has drowned or how to stop a wound from bleeding.
It's better off to leave complete treatment to a more professional individual, such as our... esteemed head nurse, but skills such as these can help keep a situation from getting worse.
[There's a pause as he inspects his arm, now devoid of any shark teeth. Something seems to just *pop* out from his sylladex and he puts the modified omni-tool onto his good wrist. Don't mind him as he holds it over the bleeding wound and... wow that sure is some automatic healing going on. Technology is great, he loves technology.]
I will be on the island all day so feel free to simply locate me if you are interested. Speaking of the island... [A slight frown.] The pollen up here seems less severe than that down in the city.
Curious.

Once Darkleer speaks up, Bro's face eases into a wide grin.]
Sup. Nice dog. [The moment that last word leaves his mouth, he remembers something Lysunder said.] Or uh... should I say barkbeast?
[Action]
[He shrugs and sets his device to the side, where the dog keeps a watchful eye on it.]
I meant it initially as part of a gift, but things changed and now I keep them with me. The design is well enough for me. Are you here for the lessons I offered on the network?
[Action]
Naw, I'm not. I've seen more than enough wounds to know how to deal with 'm. [Sooo not commenting on the CPR thing.] I was just interested in that thing you used on your arm.
[Action]
[His voice stays at the same calm neutral tone as usual, but his eyes are the biggest and shiny clean windows to his soul. He's definitely a bit surprised at this, but then, he supposes he shouldn't be. Vatheon brings in all sorts.]
It's not something from Alternia, but one of the curses which happened let me analyze one. I decided to make my own. It seemed useful.
[Action]
Seemed useful is like the understatement of the year. Where I'm from, there's people who'd kill to get a little trinket that can fix wounds right up.
[Action]
[Talking about technology is always a fantastic thing for him, so he starts to ease up as he talks.]
It has a number of other uses, including scanning other technology and repairing it, programming computers, communication, and even recreational things such as games. I believe it also has the ability to be a weapon if programmed correctly.
[Action]
What's it called?
[Action]
Would you care to inspect it? I would prefer if you did not do an indepth investigation for now, of course.
[Darkleer doesn't mind sharing if it means more nerd buddies. Or at least buddies with vaguely nerdy interests.]
[Action]
Man, don't worry. I got no tools with me to take it apart anyway.
[In fact, when he reaches out to take the omni-tool, he'll do it with extreme care. Breaking this thing would be a crime against nature- errr... technology.]
[Action]
You never know what people might have up their sleeve.
[Darkleer is also rather careful as he hands it to him before folding his hands behind his back like a troll gentletroll.]
[Action]
What's the power source?
[Action]
[Reaching close, he directs it to show him where it's located. Insert details here because Mass Effect has none!]
[Action]
Huh. I wonder if there's any way to duplicate this thing.
[Action]
[Action]
[With that, he'll hand the omni-tool back to Darkleer.]
[Action]
[He takes it back and puts it back in his sylladex.]
The Nostalgia Quarter is a part of Vatheon which is constantly undergoing change, putting in new items from new worlds every day, if not every few hours. I make it a point to at least send a robot to investigate.
[Action]
What kinda job you got that lets you afford all those spare parts?
[Action]
[Which is such a relief from dealing with pretty much his whole life and social network.]
I also send my robots out to do tasks to earn payment as well.
[Action]
[Action]
I prefer to base them off of animals, as there are a variety of forms that provide interesting challenges.
[Action]
[Don't mind Bro as he crouches down next to the dog for a closer look. Hot damn, this is some advanced stuff.]
[Action]
[The dog straightens up a bit, serious in every bit of its body language. Bro isn't someone registered firmly in its database yet, so it's not exactly trusting while on guard duty.]
[Action]
But wow, insect robots. It's gotta be the most frustrating little chore to build something teeny tiny like that. Unless they're ten times the size of real insects, in which case it'd be kind of eerie.]
Man... Must be a lotta technology in the Nostalgia Quarter that makes stuff from my own world look like ancient relics.
