23 ♐ Video ♐ Casually ignore wound

[See Darkleer. See Darkleer without his glasses for once and his hair pulled back into a thick braid! See Darkleer also kind of bleeding somewhat from the arm.]

[Yeah that might be a problem. It seems he's on the beach and dress appropriately for the location, if not the weather. Tight swimming trunks cling to his legs, and what appears to be the bite mark of a shark is on one muscular arm. He doesn't seem much bothered by it- in fact, there's just the occasional wince as he pulls a tooth out. Just one more scar to add to what seems like a collection of them. Also noticeable would be a pendant that seems to be hanging around his throat... Hm.]

I've been meaning to ask this, but my schedule has been rather full up until now.

[Translation: I've been focusing on all my robots like a workaholic freak and trying to hide from weird romance problems.]

However, right now I have a bit of time while I'm working on something on the island. [In the water, more correctly, but details.] Would anyone be interested in learning basic medical skills? For example, how to assist someone who has drowned or how to stop a wound from bleeding.

It's better off to leave complete treatment to a more professional individual, such as our... esteemed head nurse, but skills such as these can help keep a situation from getting worse.

[There's a pause as he inspects his arm, now devoid of any shark teeth. Something seems to just *pop* out from his sylladex and he puts the modified omni-tool onto his good wrist. Don't mind him as he holds it over the bleeding wound and... wow that sure is some automatic healing going on. Technology is great, he loves technology.]

I will be on the island all day so feel free to simply locate me if you are interested. Speaking of the island... [A slight frown.] The pollen up here seems less severe than that down in the city.

[Well, they're not together as much these days it seems like. Been some time since Summoner's been at Darkleer's home, hell, even been in his own.]

[It doesn't take him long to head on his way, Summoner's not doing much, sittin', staring at the sky, trying to think of something better to do than commune. Ya know, like this. It'll be good to see Darkleer again after all, considering they've been apart a lot lately. He- he knows why, of course. partially him, partially Darkleer. But since Summoner's not really done anything about the problem he's going through, it's not difficult to drag himself out there to the island to meet with Darkleer. He, wants to... after all. He loves Darkleer, it's just hard to be faithful when he's worried about never being faithful enough, like it's even still worth it- if Darkleer really should just move on.]

[Like Mindfang should too.]

[Ah, this is gonna get him no where. He'll just focus on getting up to the island and taking flight. Shouldn't be too long of a flight, he just hope his mind doesn't keep wandering like it did during the trip to the elevator. The flight might prove beneficial though, it always helps him clear his head.]

[Partially Mindfang. Darkleer would just like to mention this. Because. Mindfang always needs to be blamed. He says this as a completely unbiased source.]

[For a while, Darkleer sits where he is. The water breathing device in his hands is still being stared at, but his mind is nowhere on it. The whole day was to be focused on making improvements and finding flaws. Funny how Summoner so easily derails his plans and how much he welcomes them... The snorting sort of chuckle he makes surprises himself, and Darkleer just stares at his own hands in disbelief before giving a small little laugh again. He had spent so much time in a spiral of worry because he didn't want to chase Summoner off, but look at this. He has to stop. He has to at least talk to Disciple about this, he knows.]

[Summoner has already come to him, kissed him, told him how much he loves him.]

[By the time Summoner appears in the sky, Darkleer has reduced more than a few little rocks to nothing more than sand in his hands from nervous and excited energy. Looking up, he gives a smile- tentative but hopeful. He pushes himself up to his feet.]

I'm glad to see you again.

[Okay she has something to do with it too, of course. And not even because Darkleer thinks MF should be the blame for a lot of things, but because in this particular instance, she is very much a part of what's happening between the two of them.]

[But with good reason after all- Summoner's heart's obviously in pieces, he can't help it. He doesn't think he's made for too many romances in his life time, he should've... should've quit after one, but it's too late now. He eventually has to do what's right, once he figures out what that is.]

[Which is hard because- well- seeing Darkleer down there, that feels right, going to him like this, feels right... Just as speaking to Mindfang did, being with her as he had been before. But at the same time being with either of them feels incredibly wrong, like he really should just- stop. But he doesn't ugh, he... doesn't. And even now he feels a small smile creep up on his face as he gets closer, soon landing a good ten feet away from the other troll.]

[His shoulders shift in his blue zora tunic, wings fluttering, closing, folding up nice and tight behind him as he starts to make his way over.]

Hey you- uh- y-yeah. Sorry.

[Ten feet is too far away, even with a stride as long as his. Once he's there, however, he suddenly seems to get a little shy with his gaze peeking up from beneath his eyelashes and fingers just tentatively going over to link with a few of Summoner's.]

It's alright. You're here now, aren't you? And I would dare say you've done more than that while she's been here.

[An awkward kind of chuckle before he finally gives in and just pulls Summoner in for a good hug, making sure he doesn't disrupt those lovely wings of his anymore. For a moment, he just wants to stand there holding him. Nothing will ever match up to Summoner's warmth, the sound of that stutter, the way his wings rustle..]

Missed the smell of you, even.

[He pulls away, looking maybe a little embarrassed.]

Was that an unusual thing to say? I'm sorry. That was not the intent.

[Ah ha, a little quick with getting flesh to flesh contact, not that he really minds, he shouldn't. His fingers softly clench, gripping Darkleer's hand in return as his brows furrow and he gives a small smile. He swallows at "she" though and glances down for a moment before suddenly being tugged in. His eyes widen for a moment, blinking as he's hugged.]

[Darkleer's next words soon slide out and he pauses, pulling his head up a bit and giving him a kind of dumbfounded look.]

Heh-

[A pause, and his face lights up with a wide smile, laughing to himself and leaning his head forward to place a short kiss against Darkleer's neck.]

Pretty weird, it's okay, smells are important in the animal kingdom, don't worry about it.

[He is quick because he loves you, Summoner. He loves you like woofbeasts love. Like a manebeast does. ~~Wink wink~~]

[The smile makes him feel a bit better and he leans in after that kiss to press their foreheads together.]

I've been told I should not be so weird, so you should stop encouraging me like you always do, you know.

[Ah ha...]

[The touche of foreheads is met a little hard, Summoner making it more of a head but, lips peeling into a more playful smile, hands moving to grip Darkleer's hips.]

Ah- I uh, I think you should just be what you are, you can't help it right? [Rubs his face forward a little.]

Trying to be anymore's unnecessary, greatness already exists inside of most, just depends on others to see it.

[Good thing Darkleer has a thick skull, this time. There's a little bit of chuckling as Summoner rubs his face against his, and Darkleer dares to lick his nose. It's funny how that's a thing for them, now.]

I think I possibly could manage the oddness I apparently display to others that are not socially appropriate, but see, this is exactly what I was talking about.

[Sliding his hands onto Summoner's shoulders, he just continues to smile at him, tired and relieved all in one.]

You bring out the worst in me.

[Dares to, like it's not an established thing for Summoner, he gives a laugh, returning the gesture.]

Ah- you sure? All I see's the best really, well- okay maybe not- but eh, more to pity right? [Lightly pats Darkleer's cheek, leaning back a little before kind of- well- getting a better look at him.]

[...getting a better look at him, yeah that's- that's all that needs to be said.]

{But issues! So many issues.]

You are an extremely biased individual, my firefly, so I am not sure if you are the best to ask. [A shake of his head before he stops. The look over has him raise an eyebrow.]

These are all old scars, you know that, I hardly think they're anything to inspect...

Ahh.. [A small smile, cheeks flushes a little as he leans back, a hand moving up to scratch into his red and black hair.]

Ha- scars? [Raises a brow.] Can't I just look at ya?

....Oh.

[Without even thinking about it, he straightens himself out and presents his chest a little.]

I suppose you very well can.

You sure? [Smiles, raaaaising a brow, cocking his head a little.]

Yes. Very and extremely so. [Preeeeeeen. Run hand through hair. Do best to look attractive.]

[Ha, he doesn't really need to do his best to be honest... Darkleer has something natural that just attracts Summoner, Mindfang has it too, maybe he's just really distracted by blue....

or power, hell comparing Mindfang's strength of will and mind to Darkleer's raw power? Maybe someone can see a small connection. Maybe Summoner's just got a thing for tragic bluebloods. Either way he gets caught staring more than he should, not that he cares about getting caught right now. He's allowed to blatantly oogle Darkleer. Which he is, leaning back a little, a large hand still gripping his hip, eyes watching the other slide through that hair. He gives him a small smile, following the motion to coil a lock of the black strands in his own fingers, flipping it and twirling it around a finger.]

Thanks, I'll uh, send ya a thank you letter later, put it on my to-do list.

[All three, probably. The touch to his hair draws Darkleer down a little bit, a low pleased rumble in his chest. Curse you, wonderful weakness.]

I can think of better ways to thank me than a letter, you know. [He smiles just a little bit.]

[His lips curl.] Oh yeah-? [Tugs the hair a little, spinning it around his finger tighter.]

Like what? I mean, anyway I can get back to you, I'm a giving sort of guy.

[Yesssss hair tugging. Darkleer's shoulders slowly start to relax as he leans in close.]

Oh, I am well aware of how giving you are... [Just... gonna put a hand on your hip there.] Maybe a kiss?
