I'm not filtering this to the Defense Force because I want everyone who can help, regardless of their prior involvement. But Defense Force members, I am particularly relying on you.

If you'll notice the previous post, something big is coming, and it's important that we be ready. I understand that this curse has left people limited in terms of their powers. But it's also given people some of what they didn't have before. Please, let me know what you have now, so we can develop a strategy for how best to work together.

In addition, once you've reported in, some of those of you with offensive powers would be useful on the island. Although some people should focus on staying rested, and figuring out what combination of powers would form the best teams. Please, feel free to talk here if there are people you think you are particularly well-suited to working with given your current skill-sets.

Beyond that, there appear to be some watermelons which when eaten will allegedly allow people to breathe underwater. Once tested, we might well need that ability.

[Even if the idea of that failing mid-battle and people drowning is...a worrying possibility. But he can focus on first finding out if they're real.]

If anyone has found any watermelons, or any large green fruits with a hard outer part and red inside [in case people don't know what watermelons are] please come forward.

If you're worried about this and what is happening, and lack the capacity to help, I can only promise that we plan to try our best and to do everything that we can.

In addition to this curse, some large sea monster has attacked and killed the monster that used to guard our the underwater part of the barrier. There is a distinct possibility that we will need to fight the intruder.

I wasn't hit by the curse, so my powers aren't any different. I'm a dual swordsman, and I can use mana techniques.

My normal powers involve water but that's all I could really do if it's not the kraken--I mean, I don't even know where they put the banjo I used to put it that big guy to sleep, y'know?

The focus of the Defense Force is mostly events like this, where we do our best to be ready and trained to work together, although sometimes functioning as a police force is also necessary.

I currently have elemental spells. Not what I'm used to, but they'll do in a pinch. I also don't have my gun which I'm used to using. I seem to still have my speed but not as much as I would hope. I - unfortunately - didn't do much over the past two weeks. I'm not sure of how much use I'll be if whatever happens happens before the curse is over.

Perhaps with my deduction skills that I still have, I could assist in the determining of team sizes, locations and power combinations?

I've had... experience in deaing with large monsters before. If I was in my normal state, perhaps I would be of better help. As I am right now, however, I would probably be best in the background.
