[Gives the SFC a gentle flick, giving the camera a wry smile. Seems like he's managed to get rid of all signs of his wet arrival, minus his damp clothes. He's trying very hard to forget the whole incident for your benefit.]

So what, all I get for gracing you all with my presence is this booklet and this horrendous tunic? No welcome party, no parades, no nothing? Geez. Not to mention there's water in places you don't deserve to even know about.

[He pouts his pretty boy pout, looking very hurt indeed.]

Ah, well, I'll forgive you this time. I'm sure that there should be plenty of hunnies out there to cheer me up, yeah? We can have a party of our own now that the great Zelos is here!

Oh, and Lloyd and friends? That includes my dear, voluptuous hunny, my darling angel, my cool beauty, and my precious little one-- If you're here, you're invited, too. Don't leave a man hanging, hmm?

[With a wink and a grin, he turns off the feed.]

Yeah. You were the first to arrive after I did, before Lloyd and some of the others.

[Including Mithos. She won't mention that though.]

[Bites back a sigh.] Hold up, let me just get this straight. You're saying I've actually been here before?

[She nods.]

You were here for a while, actually. You arrived around the end of December last year last time. I dunno if you were ever here before that though... I'd arrived in the beginning of that same December.

[He'd only left earlier this month, even.

She pats the dog on the head.] You're the one who went with me when I got Caramel!

I-- [He doesn't remember any of that. Cute dog, but he doesn't remember that, either.]

So basically what you're saying is that I'm having a bad case of amnesia right now, yeah?

Well...yeah. But I've never actually heard of people recovering from not remembering unless they leave again.

Vatheon's a little weird like that. If anyone acts like they know you...it's probably because they did. The last you who was here anyway.

It's...[She just doesn't want to say that he's forgotten. That it's the same Zelos, same time in their world and everything, but that he just forgot everything that happened.] It's a bit easier that way.

[For her, anyway.

He doesn't remember their conversation about how Lloyd hadn't forgotten what happened past his time; it just hadn't happened for him yet. But that's basically how she feels about this too. He hasn't forgotten; it's a different Zelos!

Please let it be a different Zelos...she wouldn't be able to stand it if he'd just forgotten what happened and acted the same as when he arrived, all those shields... It'd hurt too much.]

[Well, he's definitely familiar with coping mechanisms. Part of him wants to apologize, he can fear hurt in her tone and he's not too tolerant of that-- but what for?

He pulls on a wry smile.] I guess I can see that. Well, it's nothing I can't handle.

[She smiles a little. She knows he understands, at least a little bit.]

I hope so. It'd be sad if you ended up not being friends anymore.

[That goes for...pretty much everyone he's talked to that he was friends with. Zelos acting as he did at the beginning of his stay here is sure to be a shock for some of the friends he's made here.]

[He shrugs.] It kinda sucks for them to get their hopes up and all that. Though I guess we'll just have to see how things work out, huh?

So what's the deal with this place, anyway?

Yeah...

[But Zelda and Zelos were close, and now he's gonna flirt with her...it's weird.

At least this means he doesn't know about the deaths though.

She blinks.]

Vatheon? We're stuck here until we leave, and then we might come back someday, with or without our memories from here. Time doesn't pass while we're here, and the people from our world might show up from earlier in our lives or later in our lives.

[Speaking of which...]

What's the last thing you remember?

Sounds confusing. [Dismissive wave of his hand.] So basically we're at the mercy of some higher power?

Uh. [She's not talking about dinner, is she?] The last important thing that happened was getting the King to sign for the deconstruction of the Church of Martel.

Yeah, something like that. It might be the coral.

[That's a relief...That means he has reunited the worlds.]

I think we're from around the same time then! [Just like last time.]

That's be the icing on this shitcake, that's for sure.

That's... good? [Slightly confused, shallow nod.] Oh, and is anyone else I know here? Besides Lloyd.

[It's better than him being from before Derris Emblem stuff.

...She's still not going to mention Mithos. At least, not by name. She nods.]

Sheena's here! And someone you don't want to talk to.

[He allows himself a smile of relief.] So that's it from Lloyd's crew, then?

[Eyebrows goin' on up.] That could be a handful of people, sweetheart.

[She smiles.] I know! But last time you talked to him here I think you ended up yelling at him. He's one of the ones you never wanted to see again.

[Which really doesn't narrow it down more, huh...

And Zelos yelling at Mithos again would probably set back her progress of getting him less stuck in his ways.]

[He lifts an eyebrow.] You know, you're lucky you're cute.

Am I going to have to find out about this guy myself?

[Hopefully not. She didn't mean to get him mad, but since she did...

After a moment of silence, she shakes her head.]

There's something I should tell you first, and you might be able to figure out who he is from that. If you can't, I guess I'll tell you. Just...don't yell at him. Please.

[That'd prove Zelos hadn't changed at all, and he'd go back to the way he was before. She makes sure to meet Zelos' eyes before continuing.]

People...don't stay dead here. Even if they died in the world they're from, they'll be alive if they're brought here. [Able to figure out who it is yet?]

[They've killed a handful of people over the course of their journey, but one culprit pops into his head immediately.

He gives her a wry smile.] Figures you'd get chummy with him again. Guess he's less of a threat in this place, then, yeah?

Heheh, you could say that.

[He hasn't started a Desian sort of thing here, at least...]

...He actually didn't die before he came here. He's from just a bit after we found out who he is, I think.

[It's been a while since she found out.]
