Before you arrived in Vatheon, Serph, Cielo and I approached several others about potentially removing the demons, to prevent us from having to devour. However, when the demon was removed, emotions were removed with it. The result was not deemed worth that cost.

It is unsustainable in an enclosed environment such as this, and dishonorable to prey on the innocent. I will not stand it a moment longer than it must be used. There are penalties in his place, for killing, and we cannot afford to amass those every week.
