Disciple has a one year anniversary.
[A new non-filtered video hits the network. In it is a older oliveblooded troll many will recognize. She is sitting cross-legged on some sort of large stuffed chair in the shape of a cat. Unlike many of her public postings this one appears to be actually intentional. She has certainly come a long way in understanding the communications technology of this place. She takes a sip from a steaming teacup and addresses the camera.]
One year. It is a human measurement of time. The time it takes the human planet, Earth, to complete one full orbital revolution around its parent star.
[A pause as she takes another sip of tea.]
It seems my starfish communicator has let me know that it was just over one human year ago that I first arrived here in Vatheon. It is a rather arbitrary distinction for one of my race, as we do not share the same measurement of time. One of our own orbital sweeps lasts as long as 26 human months. Regardless, it has still got me thinking about all my time spent here.
This place has given me many things. The chance to once again have that which I had lost. A chance to meet those that I would not otherwise have been able to. It has given me a chance to forgive, both myself and others. I have had opportunities here that I would not have even dreamt of back home. That is not to say that it has been completely enjoyable. This place certainly has a way of sticking a knife into your chest and then slowly turning it.
Well, that is enough of my ramblings. To those of you I know, I look forward to another human year together. To those that I do not know, let us change that.
[Disciple raises her teacup in salute, smiles one last time into the camera, and the feed cuts.]

Your history?

Our history yeah... We have a bit of a strained experience with each other back home on Alternia. It took quite awhile for the two of us to work past it, and even now I still think it holds him back sometimes, even though I have told him I have forgiven him. [Killing ones matesprit is generally frowned upon.]

You are right, though. I will keep doing what I have been, and make sure he knows. Really, truly knows. Trust is paramount in a moirallegiance, after all.
