[ Well, if you didn't want to see a close-up of Prince Gumball's ~~pink~~ orchid face for the opening of this video then today is not your lucky day. After exploring the extent of his little ~~pink~~ amaranth iStarfish, figuring out its purpose, trying to get it to play techno music and dying in the first level of a game he found on it, he decided to use it to communicate.

However, he pressed record too quickly and started the video prematurely. After a moment, he pulled it away so the network can be greeted with a more normal shot.

Generally, when Gumball finds himself kidnapped or in another dimension or possessed, Fionna is efficient and heroic enough to save him within a reasonable timeframe. This time, it's been a while so he decides to take matters into his own hands to see what the hold-up is.

He is also feeling a little extra impatient given how...wet the current location is and how his ~~pink~~ salmon rainboots are nowhere in sight. ]

Greetings, citizens of Vatheon! My name is Prince Gumball of the Candy Kingdom. Though my stay thus far has been nice-- [ and he thinks that's being kind ]-- I worry about my subjects back home and their low tolerance for stress. If you could be so kind as to direct me to your nearest ship port or best place to create a wormhole back home, I would be delightfully grateful. Ideally, I'd like to return on the morrow but if one is not available, my previous requests are sufficient.

[ He holds up a wet and sandy towel between his pinched fingers. ]

Also, is there a towel butler around? I'd like to receive a new towel at your soonest convenience, I dropped mine.

[Percy is also mentally trying to convince himself that his friends are alright back where he's from. They were kind of in the middle of a really important quest. ]

[ These sorts of crazy drugs don't exist in the Candy Kingdom! ...maybe in the BAD part of the kingdom...but not where Gumball is familiar. ]

You're right, Percy. I should trust in Fionna, she is brave and heroic.

Xanax. It's an anti-anxiety medication. I had to take it for awhile. [Percy suffers from both ADHD and Dyslexia. School has been rough for him.]

Is she a demigod?

Oh! I've made anti-anxiety potions before but never gave them fancy names like that!

No, she's the human.

[Again with the sounding like a child of Aphrodite.]

You into that? Potion-making?

A mortal hero. Pretty cool.

Oh yes, very into it! I am a man of science and it's my passion to create and learn!

What kinds of potions can you make, then? [Potions can be very helpful to have on a quest!]

So what's she like?

One of my proudest moments was constructing the Perfect Sandwich using only science as the ingredients. Sadly, I did not get to taste it. I've also made a paralysis potion.

[ Thinks about Fionna for a moment. ]

Very incredible! If you looked up "hero" in the dictionary, she'd be there.

A science sandwich? How in Hades did you manage that?

[Hmm. Paralysis potion. Also sounds dangerous!]

[He laughs at that.]

Nah, that's probably be Hercules. He was the most famous hero of all time. And kind of a jerk. A couple of my friends met him recently.

[Percy was still a little sore that he hadn't gotten to meet Hercules. It seemed like everywhere he went people were comparing him to the demigod turned god.]

It was a very long and complicated process involving splitting atoms, species splicing and many other things.

[ It's much more complex than that but Gumball's mun couldn't find the episode it happened in to explain the REAL mechanics behind this stupid process. ]

How can he be a better hero than Fionna if he is a jerk?

[ He is genuinely asking this. ]

I guess that's a really good point.

I had several hypotheses prepared for the taste but I did not feel objective enough to try the sandwich on my own. I imagine it tasted like sunshine and rainbows. Only without with funky aftertaste.

I've tasted ambrosia and the nectar of the gods, but I can't say that I've tasted either sunshine or rainbows.
