[Percy looks tired. He's in his pajamas and drinking milk at the counter in his kitchen.]

Hey, people of Vatheon. I figure it's about time I introduced myself on here. So far I've met some really cool people, and it's helping me get my bearings in this strange new place.

[He takes a swig of the milk, then wipes away a milk mustache with his sleeve. So classy.]

So anyway. I'm Percy Jackson. Been here a couple weeks now.

[His smile fades.]

I haven't been sleeping well. Anyone have any tips?

Usually when this happens we're being chased by monsters. It's kind of nice.

[Percy snakes an arm around her shoulder, settling in next to her. He doesn't feel awkward either. This feels right.]

I know right? [ She settles on him more comfortably, breathing him in on a sigh. This did feel right. Warm and peaceful. And it's not like Leo would care what they did. ]

It's almost weird to not be worried about them here. [ She smiles and traces her hand down the front of his pyjama top, playing absently with the buttons. They should've done this sooner ]

[Percy sighs and pulls the covers over them, turning to face Annabeth a little more.]

I guess I still am worried about them. I have to keep reminding myself that nothing's happening there while we're here. You guys misread the name of this place as "vacation". Maybe that's how we should be thinking about it.

[ Annabeth scoots back a little so she can face him properly, the hand that was playing with his buttons coming up to push a lock of hair behind his ear. ]

Maybe you should. It's a reprieve, at any rate, but it's understandable that you still react that way. Not like we can help it when we've trained for it for so long.

[ She feels bolder than she is when she says the next bit, a small smile on her face. ] Maybe I can help distract you? Somehow.

[Percy flushes, hoping she doesn't notice in the dim light. A distraction. Maybe that could work. Especially if it was Annabeth doing the distracting.]

What did you have in mind?

[Annabeth's cheeks burn up. She has plenty of things in mind, some of which she's not even sure if Percy's interested in doing yet. But then Percy is a boy; a man now really and of course he might be interested in taking things a bit further and wow, Annabeth, you're getting ahead of yourself. Stop with the staring and biting your lip because he just asked you something and you should reply, dummy.

Leaning up, she kisses him on the lips, soft and slow. ]

Maybe some more of where that came from?

[Percy does see that bright flush in the dim light. She was so cute when she was overthinking things.]

[He kisses her back, without hesitation; the tender press of lips making him short of breath.]

Yes.

[He kisses her again, harder this time, but still slow.]

[ If Percy hadn't seen that flush then he'd definitely be able to feel it now, with their faces so close together. She told herself that it didn't matter though. She was sure he'd had similar thoughts before. Even so, her heart's pounding as she evenly meets his kiss, mouth opening against his to invite him closer. ]

[Of course he's had similar thoughts, he's a boy. He's never wanted to push it with her because he's afraid she's punch him if he did. But now she's warm and inviting and he wraps his second arm around her, pulling her closer as they kiss.]

[ Punching him was never completely out of the question. Neither was judo-flipping him again. But right at that moment there was nothing in the way of them doing whatever they wanted to do. No quest to think about, no monsters, no Coach Hedge. Just them in a peaceful house under the water and more than enough reason for them to be together however they wanted.

Annabeth sighs happily, hooking her leg over the top of Percy's thigh and pulling him closer still as they kiss. He feels really good. Warm and solid and already she wants to touch him all over. ]

[Percy hums happily into the kiss as they are now touching from lips to toes. He slides his hand down the side of he body slowly, slipping his hand over her thigh and under, lightly brushing the underside of her leg with his fingers.]

[He's not thinking about quests or Coach Hedge or even falling anymore. He'd already fallen for Annabeth and now they were solidly planted here in this moment.]

[ It's almost like she can feel the tension ebbing out of Percy, like water at low tide, and she finds herself smiling into the kiss. Good.

His fingers on her thigh tickle a little at first, and then they just feel good, like anywhere on her body is where his hands should be. She draws her own down over his chest, tracing the lines and planes of it as she traces his lip with her tongue. ]

[Percy sighs deeply, his tongue meeting hers, his hand still sliding gently along her thigh. Her skin was so soft and smooth and he felt his body begin to react to her alluring proximity in a way that she was sure to notice.]

[ The hand on her thigh makes Annabeth glad she wore shorts. Percy's fingers leave tingles in their wake and Annabeth rocks her hips slowly forward, a warm thrill radiating out from her core when she realises that Percy's getting excited. Sliding one hand down to hold his hip, she rocks forward again, letting out a quiet moan when it feels good. ]

[Percy gasps at the contact, rolling his hips again into hers and kissing her a little more desperately. There is nothing at all in his mind but her and her body against his.

[ When Percy gasps, Annabeth wants to touch him; to draw all of those bad dreams out of his mind as she draws more sounds from his throat. But it's too soon for that, and she nudges him onto his back instead, not breaking their kiss as she settles her thighs directly onto his hips. Like that she can feel everything through the thin cotton of their pyjamas and she gasps quietly too. ]

Percy.

[Percy groans at the contact, his hands finding Annabeth's hips and guiding them in a slow rhythm.]

[ Annabeth bites her lip as the friction builds into pleasure, moving in rhythm with Percy's hands. Reaching down, she starts to unbutton his pyjama top as they move. ]

[Percy pulls her back into a kiss, rough and a little desperate this time as he rocks his hips up in rhythm with her.]

[ Annabeth lets out a little sigh against Percy's mouth. She loves it when he kisses her like that. Getting the buttons free, her right hand trails down over the skin of his torso until she can fit the heel of it over the front of his pyjama bottoms, rubbing down firmly when he next bucks his hips up. ]
