Hey, people of Vatheon. I figure it's about time I introduced myself on here. So far I've met some really cool people, and it's helping me get my bearings in this strange new place.

[He takes a swig of the milk, then wipes away a milk mustache with his sleeve. So classy.]

So anyway. I'm Percy Jackson. Been here a couple weeks now.

[His smile fades.]

I haven't been sleeping well. Anyone have any tips?

Though I'd need a book or a guide to help me, if it wasn't one of the really obvious things.

Oh that's kinda cool. [ Most demigods have prophetic dreams and Annabeth's no different, but Percy seems to suffer from them more than she does. ]

Hmm, my boyfriend keeps dreaming that he's falling. Do you think it has any significance?

[She has to think about that for a bit before answering, falling dreams were not the ones she usually had.]

From what I remember, what caused the falling is more important than the falling itself. Like, being pushed is a sign that you don't trust the person who pushed you.

Hmm. What caused the falling. That makes sense. [ A lot of sense ] But he wasn't pushed, he sort of fell when he was trying to rescue me.

Oh, so you're right there?

[Well that changes things.]

Then all you have to do is save him.

Yes but... Save him? How would I do that if I'm falling too?

[ It makes an odd kind of sense, but in that world she's hanging over the abyss to Tartarus with a broken ankle and a huge chunk of stone floor tethered to her other one by spider silk. Rescuing Percy is not looking good. ]

Well that's what two people do, they save each other. One person by themselves, they'll just fall. But with two people, you can do something about it.

...even if it's just reassuring each other while you fall, that's better than being alone, right?

Hmm. You have a good point. He fell for that very reason, to be with me and protect me. [ no matter what. ] Maybe if I can remind him that I'm able to do the same thing for him...

[She's surprised talking it through helped, but it is a happy surprise.]

I'm not sure if it'll help with his bad dreams or not, but it's worth a shot, right?

It's definitely worth a shot. I'll go and talk to him after this, see if I can't help him out.

[ Annabeth doesn't usually make friends this quickly, but it seems that most the people she's talking to in Vatheon - with the exception of Karkat - are more open to it. She doesn't mind it, it's just new for her. ]

A couple months now, I think. I got here back in...February, I want to say? Right before the beginning of March.

[Wow it's already been three months for her. Time flies.]

You get used to it, honestly. Time has been going by pretty fast, there's a lot to do here.

Really? What sorts of things do you like to do? [ Annabeth how no idea where to start, since her hobbies aren't necessarily conventional. ]

Talk with people, mostly. I've got two friends who get into trouble all the time, so I spend a lot of my time helping them out.
