[To keep you from flying off on him completely.]

I already have something to come back to. And grounded- ah- you know I've never liked that word.

[A sigh.]

My apologies, then. I'd just... like for there to be someplace where I could find you.

If you need to get ahold of me you know you can message me. I can't really fly off anywhere here, since we are stuck in a bubble or on an island, so getting lost isn't, really, really a thing that can happen. Besides, you've been busy lately anyway, so don't stress over it, okay?

If I didn't stress over it, I would imagine I would be fairly drunk or sleep deprived. Possibly both.

...Why don't we see each other tonight?

All of those don't- really leave me uh, calm, at all- huh? Tonight? [A pause, leaning back a little as he glances off. Summoner raises a hand to rub the back of his neck. He and Darkleer, and well- heck, he and anyone lately, Summoner's just not really been his social butterfly self since Pyral showed up and left. Besides Darkleer's busy with- other stuff lately, and Summoner really doesn't want to accidentally happen upon anything.]

[But if they make plans it'll be okay?]

Yeah, uh, sure. Let's do something tonight.

[His expression tentatively brightens up. For some reason, he nearly thought he'd say 'no'. It seems like far too much is happening lately, and his relationship with Summoner is already on unsteady grounds. Seeing him in person will give him some measure of relief.]

You can come to my hive, then. I managed to set up a barrier against the water before evacuating, so it really is rather dry. We can figure out the night from there.

All right, meet up with you after I get a few founds in with people here and there?

[Yeah, unsteady is a good word for it. Though, Summoner's not really sure what words he wants to put with it honestly. A lot of times he feels half here and half somewhere else, and any other time he just kind of wants to sleep.]

[Honestly, Darkleer is almost certain that it's not Mindfang he's fighting against for Summoner's attentions so much as it is that eternal war that's always on his General's mind. That is a much harder foe to beat.]

Battle hard and well, Lysunder. You're the General of the Cavalreapers, you need to be a good example.

[A lot of things come into play honestly. But Summoner doesn't exactly feel like there's a true problem. He's not worried about them, he's just- something. Tired maybe. Just wants to sleep, which is saying something, though his night mares aren't nearly as bad these days.]

Heh, damn straight. But this'll be for me to get back into the feel, ya know? I'll be a little tired when I show up if that's okay?

Well, you can always rest on me if it gets to be too much.

Yeah I guess I could, but that's not much of a date.

Well if you want it to be more romantic, I could whisper love poems into your ear as you rested. Would that be better?

Uh- . . .

I believe that is what I shall do then. I would not want you to think I have lost my romantic touch.

That's uh...that's okay, really.

Maybe I should make it a candlelit affair as well. It is up to me to set the mood, since I'm the one inviting you.

I uh, I guess so. I won't try to expect too much, I don't want to make you have to live up to any too high of expectations.

I'm a highblood, Lysunder, we are rather fond of making high expectations for ourselves.

[He's teasing. Really. There probably won't be candles.]

[A sigh, giving Darkleer a fond look, his brows furrowed and his lips in a small smile that says something along the lines of 'what ever shall I do with you', not that Summoner'd ever say something so dainty. But he feels a familiar tug in his pump enough to stop making a fool of himself and just nod this time.]

I'll expect the whole shebang then.

[Oh dear, that fond look makes it feel like his bloodpump has burst into butterflies. Not literally, that would be unhealthy.]

I'll do my best not to disappoint.

[By that point, he will be quite ready. The hoofbeastfeather hive does seem to be in a considerably better condition than most of the neighborhood it's in, and the only real damage would be to the edges of their yard. Beyond that, pretty dry.]

[Darkleer is out, head tilted back so he can watch the strange way the water seems to shift beyond the bubble, distorting the moonlight. He has a few things ready in his sylladex- particularly some medical supplies. Just in case. For now, however, he's just waiting.]

[Waiting, waiting for something to show itself up above maybe? If not, he'll see it anyway, that familiar shape carried by more familiar orange shapes. Summoner's pace is lagging though and he teeters a little when he finally lands out on the sidewalk just outside of the yard. He doesn't look very hurt at all, just tuckered out. Managing a smile at least as she steps forward.]

Out here, hope for not too long eh? [A chuckle, though weak sounding. His wings close with a little less grace than usual, almost dropping into a closed position behind him as he walks down the walk way.]

It's never too long when you are concerned.

[It's good to see that Summoner is relatively unharmed, then, besides looking like he might drop. Maybe he should have rescheduled this date... But then, the idea of Summoner falling asleep on him is highly appealing. Darkleer has not regretted the last few times it's happened.]

[Walking closer, he lowers himself into a bow and tries to take Summoner's hand so he can kiss his knuckles]
