I'd say this is for the sake of science or something along those lines, but since it's truth week, I doubt it'd let me say that. So, I'm just going to say that this is me exploiting the hell out of this curse by asking this question publicly.

What are your most embarrassing guilty pleasures? I'm surprised nobody has asked this already, Jesus.

Boy band? Sounds like my friend Liz would like them, then. I don't really have much use for boy bands and that "baby baby only you girl" stuff.

[That is what's often in boy band songs, right? She doesn't know.]

Hmm, like I said, I like electronic music--house, trance, techno, things like that. But if you can name off more female musicians that are righteously pissed off for me to look into that'd be great, too.

Trust me, I think boy bands got worse after N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys' era. Unfortunately, most of the prepubescent female population just eats it up like it's going outta style, which it has.

deadmau5 is my favorite when it comes to those types. I enjoy Skrillex, too. As far as righteously pissed off females goes...Evanescence in some songs. Some. Within Temptation has some, I think. Heart definitely, especially Barracuda. I'll throw in Florence + the Machine, Nightwish, and Imogen Heap just 'cause they sound awesome and I love their lyrics.

I'll have to look into those. I've also been hearing about someone called Marina and the Diamonds or something like that.

Mm, I knew Dave from...a really, really long time ago in Vatheon, I'm pretty sure whichever version is here now doesn't know who I am. But--yes, sorry then, I recognized your face through Dave, I think Kid might have mentioned you before too. I'm Maka.

Still, if he knew you before, then there's no real reason as to why he wouldn't get along with you now, right?

Uh-huh, and they're my boyfriends so yeah, they would have mentioned me I guess.

Dave and I weren't really close before, he just happened to live in the same house as I did because he was John's friend. I was a lot closer to John and Rose.

Then I think I'll get along with you just fine. Rin's teaching me how to cook things that aren't baked goods.

[Oh, truths. At least it's not a terrible secret.]

Point still stands. If they were cool with you, then I don't see why Dave wouldn't.

...Okay maybe being in this place has made me a little more anti-social.

John doesn't even remember me now...and he looks a lot older, too, who knows how much he's changed in the time he's been at home.

[She looks quite hurt by the idea really.]

The only thing that's changed for John in three years is that he doesn't like Con Air anymore. Well, and maybe being hit hardcore with puberty or something, I don't even know. He's still the same at his core, though. A friendly, mischievous, high-energy doofus.

[Just because he had been avoiding them for two years didn't mean he hadn't been keeping an eye on them.]
