So, talking about attractiveness and things like that, I don't get it. It just seems like another excuse to single people out.

I don't want people to think I'm something as temporary as attractive anyway, I want them to respect and know that I can handle them.

Better question is, why do people hold others to standards that ultimately don't mean a damn thing anyway? You can't be so many things at once just to please someone else, it's impossible.
