Just to let you know that Sewaddle came back home after his time away. He went missing a time ago now and I was very worried, as you may have known. I would just like to thank all of those who assisted me in Sewaddle's rescue. I can't tell you how much I am pleased to have him back with me.

[He felt Sewaddle crawl up his shoulder and gaze into the screen.]

As a token of my gratitude, I would like to invite anyone around for some tea and cakes. This will be at my apartment near the Forest area. Once again, thank you!

Oh, I see. That makes more sense. If he could get under and not back out, then it wouldn't have had any way to tell you it was down there. You should tell him to be more careful in the future.

I did speak with him in great detail after his disappearance. He knows I care for him greatly and I also know his imagination can lead him astray at times.

That's good. At least he knows that you care for him. Pokemon need to hear that from their trainers.

I quite agree. I would not be able to function without Sewaddle here. He's been my friend for a long time.

You must have a very good connection with him then. It's... nice to see that, in a trainer.

I do. We've known each other for a very long time now, ever since I found Sewaddle up in the tree we met in. I am sure you are close to your Pokémon too, are you not, N?

Of course. I'm friends to all Pokemon.

Trainers and Pokémon should be close to one another, as that is what it's all about.

I'm not a trainer, though. I can simply hear the inner voices of Pokemon. I would rather treat them as friends than tools used for battles.

I know now not all trainers are abusive and neglectful, but I stand by my own conviction to not be one.

Of course. I can understand that entirely. [Sewaddle climbed up onto Burgh's shoulder, so he could listen in closer to N's voice.]

Then, you have a true and honest heart.

[N smiles faintly, waving a hand to Sewaddle]

It seems that way, yes.

[Sewaddle sees N and pokes his face up to the screen and smiles. Yes, he likes you, N. It may be the fact you have green hair and that you are nice to Pokémon.]

[Aw, so cute.

N likes you because you're a Pokemon. And nice.]

Your Sewaddle has a very cheerful disposition.

Oh, he is! He's a lovely Pokémon to have, N. Aren't you, Sewaddle? [Burgh patted the top of the caterpillar Pokémon's head, as he responded by climbing up onto Burgh's head.]

It's nice to see a trainer who treats their Pokemon as friends, and not merely tools.

I'm very glad you two have one another.

Oh, I would never treat Sewaddle as a tool! I just couldn't. We're attached as best friends should be. [Sewaddle agreed by climbing into Burgh's unruly hair.]

You would be surprised just how many people are willing to abuse and use Pokemon for their own selfish means.

Indeed. A sad shame, as Pokémon should neither be abused or used like that. I am guessing you've heard of Team Plasma?

[wow he got quiet all of a sudden]

Oh. Have I said something wrong, N? I do not wish to upset you if I have.

I was their leader... I was the king of Team Plasma.

You were? But....I can't imagine you being in charge of those criminals, N. Were you made to be their king?

I was. That was my father's intent from the start.

Your father made you the king of Team Plasma? [Burgh felt sorry for the boy. How could any father subject their own son to such a fate?]

I am sorry for what you have been through, N. It could not have been easy. Did you tell him how you felt?

He raised me to be their king, yes. From the beginning I had the ability to speak to Pokemon, so he would bring me abused, mistreated Pokemon in an attempt to convince me even as a child that there were no good trainers in the world. That Pokemon had to be liberated.

I never got a chance to tell him how I felt. By the time I learned that it was all for his own selfish intentions, he had fled, and I was left on my own. But it was thanks to Hilda that I even learned all this, and that I learned not all trainers are bad.

I still have issues trusting them. I still believe that Pokemon are unique, beautiful creatures that should never, ever be exploited for personal gain. But I've learned, slowly, that some trainers have amazing connections with their Pokemon that go far beyond mere friendship.

If... nothing else, that makes up for some of the hardships I faced growing up.
