--that's video. [A certain fluffy haired Pokemon enthusiast is pointing at something on the screen of a new arrival's SFC. He's behind said new arrival, visible behind a mass of equally fluffy brown hair. Apparently he's giving a lesson on how the SFC works and doesn't realize that his point actually prodded the button hard enough to start recording.]

Oh ... okay. So when you press that button, the camera feed goes right to a network that everyone here can see? This thing is kind of like a more public Xtransceiver ... [ The new arrival in question was staring at the SFC with this look of fascination on her face. It wasn't hard to get a handle on, she was just learning quite a bit all in the span of the few hours she had been here. On top of other things.. ]

Something like that. There's voice mail to talk to people directly. [There's an awkward pause from N, but he adds:] You can contact me directly with it, if you want...

Really? So I guess ... um. [ She looks over the device and points to a button ] Is that how I go to contacts or something?

Yes, that's right. You're getting the hang of it. [He doesn't really smile, but he seems... almost content with the current situation. Odd, for anyone who's gotten to know him in the past couple of months.

He blinks twice, though, and gestures at the SFC again.] It turned on.

[ She looks up at him, then back to the SFC, and blinks a few times. ] ... It did? [ She looks a little closer. ] How can you tell?

The light is on. That little red one right there. It's not easy to see.

.... Oh! I see it now. Yeah, it's on ... [ URP. ] How long has it been on? [ CRAP THIS IS AWKWARD. ] We should say hello or something, right?

Zoroark took my SFC away from me the first time it turned on accidentally. He thought it would make me help him look for food. [N what does that have to do with anything Hilda just asked?] ... you can introduce yourself. I think that's customary.

.... That sounds like Zoroark. [ She's not sure what that has to do with anything but it's a cute story at least? Hilda looks back to the SFC feed and raises her free hand in an awkward wave.] Um ... hi? I'm Hilda?

Hilda is a trainer from Unova. [Thank you for that stellar introduction you two.] ... she's a... friend. [... even better.]

[ She kinda awkwardly points to N. ] I was looking for him. Ah-- Before I came here. [ No, Hilda, that doesn't sound creepy at all ... she hides her face a little at that realization. ] I swear that sounded less creepy in my head.

... that sounded creepy? [And N is forever oblivious. Does he even know what being creepy entails?] You should... say something else. Or turn it off. Other people can respond to you, though.

M'Gonna turn it off now. I push this button again, right? [ And with that, the button is pressed, and the feed turns off! ]

..Speaking of which, N, [ Saber starts, realizing they're on the same feed and she should likely just speak to them on the same returning signal as well, ] is this that friend that you told me you had something to say to?

It's very nice to meet you, Ms. Saber. I definitely consider myself lucky to have someone around who can show me the ropes, in a manner of speaking. [ And she's lucky to find someone she was already looking for!

When Saber addresses N though, she blinks a few times. Well, she and N certainly had a lot to say to each other when they met up here, but ... he talked about this to someone else? She looks up at N. Aww, his face is red again. ]

[ Saber hadn't meant to embarrass N, so she drops the subject rather quickly. ] It's a pleasure to meet you, too. [ It's so nice to meet someone who is polite. ]

I assume you are another Pokémon trainer, Hilda? If you do not mind, I hope you will let me ask you questions in the future. I have learned some about them from N and Wally, but would like to learn more with time.

[ For now, Saber feels that N should likely just be talking to Hilda. The knight is not the most socially experienced, so it may seem she's no longer wanting to continue the conversation when she's just trying to be considerate. ]

I do understand that you do have N as a guide, but feel free to ask me any questions you have about Vatheon. Everyone has different interests, after all.

[ She wants to say more to N, particularly about saying what he had wanted to say to Hilda. Now's his chance! ..But, she can always ask in a few days to see if he has followed through with it. ]
