[When the SFC turns on, the image is at a funny angle, but it clearly shows a soaked red-headed young man leaned up against the fountain. He's dressed in a bright red military outfit with a long yellow scarf around his neck, but it's clear parts are badly singed and even the man himself isn't in the best shape. Part of his arm and one of his knees seems to be torn open, but instead of blood and tissue, there's metal and sparks and some sort of fuel leaking from the wounds.

Still, despite the injuries, the man's spirits don't seem to be damaged. He groans in frustration as he takes in his surroundings.]

Dammit! Now what? Hey, Joe, can you hear me?

[When there's no response, the frustration flashes clear on his face. Jet's eyes take in his new surroundings and eventually find the recording SFC and the brochure nearby. The brochure he decides to set aside for the moment in favor of the weird thing that looked like some sort of technology.]

What the hell is this thing..?

[And then he promptly discovers the off button.]

[And then it's time to be slightly more serious.] Normally advice would be to get the fuck to the clinic, but it doesn't look like you can just slap a bandage on those and be fine in a few days.

[Still, on the more serious side he smirks and shakes his head.] Yeah, wish it were that easy. That might help with some of it, but not all.

[Certainly not that sparking knee or the deeper wound on his arm.]

Still, sounds like there's not much I can do about it, my 'usual physician' ain't here.

[He sighs. Yeah, he really doesn't know, he probably should have been paying more attention when the doc went over how everything worked.]

Tell me you think you can do something about the organic and the robotic, and I guess I can't really say no.

[Even if this guy did mess up and Jet couldn't walk again, he'd be no worse off than he was now.]

Depends. If you're asking me to fix up the organic parts, individually, then hell no, and there's a clinic that can take care of that anyway. Pure robotics I can manage, even if it's imitating organic functions. If its the two very closely intertwined, I can call up a friend of mine who's more into the biomechanic shit.

[Jet's silent a moment as he takes stock of his injuries. Yeah, there are some burns, and his arm is kinda messed up, but it's his knee that's the real problem.]

If you can fix the robotic parts, I'll deal with the organic parts. It's mostly my knee and leg and that's completely robotic.

That I'm 85% certain I can accomplish. Describe to me where you are, if you hang tight I can be there in a few.

Um..well, there's a fountain behind me and it looks like a whole bunch of stores and things.

[And sure enough, it doesn't take long for Dirk to show up at the Plaza. Part of it is because he isn't hindered by carrying anything, despite being here after offering to fix Jet up.

A guy like Jet is pretty hard to miss, so Dirk ends up approaching immediately.]

[He didn't always make the best life choices, but moving around when he was like that wasn't on his list of things to do just yet.

When Dirk showed up, the lack of..anything was something he noticed. Call him paranoid.]

Shouldn't you have a toolbox or something?

And spare parts, right? Yeah. I've got all that shit. Collected it together for convenience, because fuck taking multiple trips.

[A quick rapped line under his breath, and suddenly Dirk's tools are appearing from his sylladex to clatter out onto the pavement.]

That enough tools for you?

[He blinks and just stares for a moment...before deciding he is too tired and just doesn't care enough to even ask. He just raises his hands in a slight shrug and smirks.]

Looks good to me so long as you can do what you promised.

From what I can see so far, this ain't a problem to deal with. Might take a while, but shit's better done right than fucking up because I rushed, yeah?

[And now, time for him to invade Jet's personal space to start getting a good look at his leg.]

[He's...not okay with that, but he can't really complain either. Suck it up or deal with having a busted leg were his options, so he just leaned back on the fountain and did his best to relax.]

Yeah, well I don't have anywhere to go, so do what you need to.

[Dirk nods and gets to work. Occasionally, he might ask Jet a question about his leg, or tell Jet to move so that he can do something, but for the most part he stays quiet as he pokes around. Eventually, he moves back and cracks his knuckles.]
