So to celebrate reopening and the warm weather, today's special is sun-shaped sugar cookies~


I think I'm going to build a fishtank in the bakery! Who doesn't like fishies? And I have plenty living in my basement. They're so cute! They are silver and black and always look down. I bet they'd be happier in a tank with food and fun things to swim in. Fai offered to help. Anyone else who'd like to help is welcome too~

Okay! [ Italy just liked to make people happy. He didn't mind being pushed around at all. And Marceline didn't hit him and kept him safe, so that was good!

He gathered the strawberry croissants and remaining cherry ones into a large tubberware container, filling the rest of the space with cranberry cookies. He then followed her out the door with a smile. ]

Sweet. I'm sure I could figure out a place to put it if it's not food- I haven't really filled out the place with too much stuff yet. Been focusing on my music.

[Poor big baby. Marceline will take mercy on his soul and just point at one of the doors.]

So, basement?

Si, si! [ he opens the door to reveal stairs and then lots of water. There are fishes down there, a few visible in the light from the doorway. ]

[redboots]

Whoooo, that's a lot of water.

[Portions of her arm start to shift into a stranger purple rubbery sort of texture before she pauses.]

Since you're a big scaredy baby, you might want to just grab some buckets to put by the door or whatever and then hide. Gonna get my monster on.

Si, si! [ Italy scurries back into the kitchen, returning with a few buckets and a large soup pot then quickly hides behind the couch. ]

[There's the sound of something slithering down the stairs before splashing down into the basement- best to just stay behind that couch, Italy. If he does peek out now and then, he might see long purple tentacles reaching out from the basement and dumping various fish into the buckets and such.]

[It takes her a little while- fish are surprisingly slippery! But soon the giant tentacle monster in the basement can't feel anything else wiggling about down there with her. A quick shift back before she walks up the stairs. Bending over a little bit, she wrings out her hair- which is still partially tentacle, it seems, whoops.]

Okay, I think I got 'em all.

[ Italy hasn't come out from behind the couch. All that noise sounded like mythological monsters from the stories Grampa Rome used to tell. Scary things, really.

As soon as she speaks, he peers out from behind the couch. ]

[A grin as she wiggles his fingers in ways that fingers aren't really meant to wiggle.]
