[video] Summer in the Flower Shop

*First thing on the screen is a black and white cat, whose fur resembles a tuxedo. On his head is what would be a daisy chain, only it's made of pink carnations instead. The cat sniffs at the screen, bumping it with his nose, then reaches even closer to give it a lick with his tongue. There's a giggling, that certainly isn't the cat! Selphie's face appears close to the screen, next to the cat, wearing her own crown of pink flowers*

Hi Vatheon!~

*Selphie scoops the cat up in her arms, and he looks more than happy to have the attention*

Moses and I just wanted to tell you that your local flower shop is back in business! The seeds and seedlings needed lots of care after the flooding but... they've beaten the odds! Aya, the owner, is still in his coma... I think... but I'll be more than happy to help as best I can!~

*When she moves back from her SFC, Selphie reveals a table full of cupcake decorated with little flowers on*

Only when it tastes good. [Aya chuckles. He's had his share of bad soup.]

Speaking of which, this soups smells pretty good to him, but he'll let it cool off a bit. He takes up the bread and breaks off a piece before offering some to Selphie.]

Good news is that I didn't make it, so it should taste good!

*She smiles, rocking her stool until she was sitting closer to him. It didn't do to be too far away, not when he'd been asleep for more than a month. Selphie takes the bread and nods her head in approval as she eats*

Least the bread is nice!

And when was the last time you ate? [Aya is watching her while munching on the bread.]

Oh, I ate some cupcakes at the shop. They were pretty good, ya know. Even the ones that I made!

*Selphie smiles, taking another slice of bread*

I've definitely eaten in the last five weeks, though, unlike some!

[Aya just rolls his eyes at that jab. Not his fault he couldn't eat!]

Just make sure you eat something more substantial.

*At that eye roll, Selphie sticks her tongue out lightly, leaning closer to poke at his arm*

You're not worrying about me, are you...?

*She makes a pointed look at the bowl of soup in front of him, before slowly lowering herself off the stool*

C'mon, you gotta eat it before it gets cold. I thought you were fortunate to have it!

*And she'll just busy herself with clearing up the pot and stuff, since it would be weird if she just sat there watching him eat*

Of course I am. No one will do a better job at it than me. [And with that, he starts consuming the soup. It's full of flavor, which is a big deal. Other soups he's had were too bland or too salty. The flavor balance is just right.]

*Glad that he's finally eating, Selphie blushes a little as she starts washing up the pot in the sink. At first, she's gentle with the sponge, but as her thoughts move on, the pot is being properly scoured*

You know, that was five weeks or so where all I had to think about was that kiss on the beach..

*With pink cheeks, she's staring down into the bubbles*

[Aya almost chokes on his soup at the statement. It was pretty much the truth. He takes up a glass of water and drinks it, hoping that she didn't catch him almost drowning in a spoon of soup. He watches as she cleans the dishes before speaking up.]

You won't have to wait five weeks for another.

*Selphie was just about to take the soup pot out of the sink when he replies. She wasn't really sure what she had expected him to say in return, but she's surprised by what he does say, dropping the pot back into the sink and splashing herself with soapy water. Ignoring that, Selphie spins round to look at him with wide, eager eyes*

Really?

[Well, it was the truth, and while it is not like him to be such a romantic, he knows he has feelings for her. There isn't much point in being reclusive about it. Plus...it really not be another five weeks til their next kiss, surely.]

[Aya nods and offers a hand to her.]

*Selphie quickly wipes her hands along the side of her dress, then moves away from the sink to take his hand, standing beside him where he sits on his stool. She smiles brightly at him*

Well...that would be nice.

It was nice the last time, so I hope next time will be as well. [Aya gives her hand a squeeze before pulling her close.]

*Lucky for Aya, Selphie decides that this is going to be the next time. She lifts herself onto her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around his neck, and pressing her lips to his. Eyes closed, she'd intended it to be a soft kiss, but in an instant it becomes deeper than that*

[Yes, this is definitely the next time, and it's already exceeding his expectations. The kiss deepens, not only physically, but emotionally. It's a lot different than their last kiss. This time, their feelings for each other are known, and after this whole ordeal with being in a coma for so long, it's understandable that there are some pent up emotions.]

[Aya hums, wrapping an arm around her waist once her arms go around his neck.]

*Weeks of worrying about him, and weeks of thinking over her feelings for him, and she's trying to communicate it through her actions, determined to show it through her lips and tongue. Selphie sighs softly through the kiss, enjoying herself so much that she has no intention of letting go, one hand moving to his chest, the other up his back*

[The kiss won't be ending for a while. Aya reciprocates the lip lock with equal fervor, placing a hand atop the one Selphie placed upon his chest. If he could hold it closer, he could. For now, he deepens their kiss, tilting his head to one side.]

*With her heart beating a million miles per second, as Aya deepens the kiss, Selphie can feel her entire body melting in his arms. Pretty quickly, she's beginning to feel more than a little weak at the knees, clasping onto him tighter*

[He didn't think a kiss could ever become this intense, and when he could feel Selphie's hand clasp tighter to his, it felt all the more so. Aya used the hand behind her to clutch at her lower back as they continue.]

[Right now, air is pretty much overrated.]

*Air is definitely far less important than what she's doing, so she happily allows it to hold off a little longer. Selphie moans very softly, the hand at his back reaching to lace his hair through her fingers. If it wasn't for the hand on the small of her back, there was every chance that she might just have swooned to the floor*

[The hand will keep them both together, but Aya will opt to move the other hand to go about her torso. There is a shiver once Selphie's fingers lace through his hair, making him give a sound of content. Not many touch his hair like this. Or ever.]

*She's surprised when her simple gesture gains such a reaction, and when she realises that it's only a good thing, she grins gently through the kiss. She continues to feel his hair throughher hand, touching the back of his neck with the tips of her fingers*

[Of course Selphie was taking advantage of what she discovered. Of course. Aya feels that grin, but hums in appreciation. One of his hands moves to her arms, running fingers over her skin lightly. It's very soft to the touch, in his opinion.]

*Then it was Selphie's turn to give a shiver, gasping gently. Something so simple, but locked like this with Aya it felt like something completely new. She squeezes his hand lightly, wanting him to know that she was thoroughly enjoying herself*

[When Selphie gasps,, it gives Aya a chance to taking in his own breath of air. He does open his eyes a bit, looking to see her face. He's sure his own face matches hers in hue, but it means little as he smiles softly to her.]
