Has anyone had one of those moments when they believe to be good at something, only to realize there are people much better than you? It's hard to follow a young girls many dreams when there are more obstacles than one realizes.

Anyway, I'm basically saying I think I need some singing lessons, or even lessons on how to be an idol, if anyone is willing to lend me a hand?

There will be a few rules I have to have if you accept such as I will sleep in till 10 in the morning and I'm more of an active girl than a study girl, so that would mean no lessons that involve written work. Lessons where you have to sit at a desk for hours on end is boring and I don't understand why it's necessary.

So, if anyone is willing, I'll be happy to learn from you and I promise to do my best between this and planned cooking lessons.

I don't see how it makes us learn. Not all of us can do it.

Yes. My scores in tests are never great.

Why does it matter what your scores are, so long as they're improving?

Then no, I don't really improve at all.

Do you think there's a reason for that? Is it that you're not trying, or is it just too much beyond you as it's been presented?

I mentioned that lessons are boring and that I'm a physical person. I do well in P.E for example, but that's it.

Perhaps you could apply yourself better. You need to know all aspects of a subject to become an expert at it.

But not all lessons has paperwork. I don't see how singing does except notes, which compared to most isn't that bad. It's all those long, boring text books I don't like.

Not really. I don't exactly understand how it would be useful.

It's a way to use what other people have learned.

Theory allows you to learn from people beyond just your teacher.

Then what is the point of theory in class if it's learning beyond a teacher? Wouldn't that be considered experience, instead?

The teacher is your link to that past, to helping you understanding the theory so it can improve your own technique.

Of course. I'd hate to see anyone give up an entire arena of self-improvement.
