How do you, personally, deal with grief? How does loss hit you, and how do you face every day when your heart is aching from that loss?

They've said as much. It doesn't stop me from trying.

I've spent over fifty years alone. I can't just change my ways so suddenly, even if a strong part of me longs to.

Have little experience in this, only a half year or so since own

attempts to be withdrawn have been thwarted.

You're luckier than I am, then. It's not as engrained in you as it is in me.

Five decades is rather long, for anything. A decade may be a fraction, but it was enough to lose some, if not all, skill with social interactions. At least, for me.

People react differently to it. I can still be social, but I think I always was, so it was difficult for me to lose that.

That and... I received a second chance, of sorts. I got to experience life as some one else, though only for a week.

It is now that I've regained my memories. It was easier when I thought I was some one else.

In some ways I feel I am that person, especially since that is the person they came to know and care for. But at the same time I am also this other person they don't even know, but that's who I always was.

It's... complicated, not just in words but in practice.
