Ve, there have been a lot of strange things going on lately - scary things! - so today's bakery special is fairy cookies!

[ he pans over to cute fairy cookies neatly wrapped. ]

And to do with that, fairy wands!

I have all sorts of colors. I just decorated some pink wands. I wanted something warm. Blue is too cold right now.

I also made some scary cookies! T-teeth!

Marshmallows, cherry, chocolate chips, and scary. I-I don't think they'll eat anyone.
[ he had to have a local take them out of the oven because they looked like they'd eat him. ]

It's really warm in the bakery. Someone come join me. I'm still cold.

Ve, is something wrong with me?

No, now you're fine. [Pause and a moment of realization] Speaking of which where is your bakey?

[ okay, cool cool :D ] RED Bread in the plaza!

[Denzel strolls over to the Red Bread in the plaza, a place he hasn't paid attention to before but then he doesn't do the shopping ever. Opening the door, the bell rings and Crocker stops inside by the door. The aroma fills his nostrils.]

Mmmm. Something does smell good, yes. [Mumbling to himself before] Hello? [The man hates to break the ice, so awkward for him.]

Hi~~! Welcome! [ Italy pops up around the corner. He'd been in the kitchen working on a new batch of cookies. ] You made it~

[Crocker jumps for a second.] GAH! Hello. Didn't see you there. [Than waves awkwardly.] Yes, I did. [Small talk, one day the man will master the art of that.]

[ Italy grins largely and happily. ] Great! I have lots of cookies for you! You can have as many as you like~

[Denzel frankly looks so touched by this thought Italy] For me? THANK YOU! [slight spazzing in place in the shop]

[Crocker begins to munch on the cookies before -] Isn't it customary to give something in return?

Ve, don't worry about it. I like to bake for people and see them happy~

[Crocker's eyes slit as he pauses nibbling at the cookie.]

What's so rewarding about that? [Seeing people happy that is.]

Seeing them happy makes me happy too!

What kind of tom fooly is that? [Really please explain that logic Italy]

Ve, it's no tomfoolery at all. I'm happy to help people! Haven't you ever felt good doing something good for someone else?

Well, that's just a plain silly question, NO! I haven't done something good for someone else.

You should try it sometime. It's great!

Ha! I'll stick to breaking self esteem in children... Not that I've had much of that lately. [Groaing.]

Ve, that sounds a bit destructive.

That's entirely the point! [Before a break and Crocker munches a cookie]

[ this should really bother him more than it does, but given who he hangs out with, and who his ancestors were, it's not too bad. As long as he doesn't have to do it himself.

And really, Crocker isn't as scary as Russia. ]

[Crocker gives Italy a rather perplexed look.] Ve?

[He's also rather surpised how accepting Italy is of the man.]

You know it's surpising how accepting you are of all of this.

[ Ve is such a normal word for him, that he doesn't really think anything of it. ]

Ve, you're not the scariest person I know. That'd be Russia, but everyone's kind of scared of him. Except Germany, but Germany's not scared of anyone. Neither is Japan.

Inquring mind wants to know why everyone is scared by Russia but not Germany or Japan.

Ve, he's really creepy and kind of passive aggressive. I hear it's because of all the internal struggles he's had in his past, like rebellions and feuds and civil wars.
