[Video] The Wheel Keeps on Turning.

[ This time the announcement about Riku's departure is intentional. Sora's up on the island sitting on the beach. The sun is setting. He's had plenty of time since this morning to think about it, and he's actually able to smile a little at the camera. ]

Hey everyone, I just wanted you guys to know Riku went home again.

[ He forces the smile to stay on his face, acting as if everything's okay. He's sort of getting used to this by now, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt. ]

Kairi, if you didn't know yet, I'm sorry.

[ He actually seems a little sadder at that. He ends the transmission there without another word. Really there's nothing else to say. ]

[Roxas leans back against him. Even he can't really blame Riku for this, more than words.]

...you shouldn't have to keep losing him like this. Not- when you can't follow.

It's okay, Roxas.

[ He looked over and smiled at him. ]

I'm happy I'm here. I wouldn't get to do this with you if I wasn't.

[ Not that the situation was good, but Sora knew he was very lucky to be able to sit beside Roxas like this. To be able to reach out and touch Roxas, and talk with him was a blessing Sora wasn't going to wish away. Besides...he had something else now that he hadn't had a chance to tell Roxas about. ]

I have Kairi now too, so it's okay. I'll see Riku again.

[ There was a slightly blush on Sora's cheek at that. Actually it wasn't too far from this spot that it had happened -- His first kiss with Kairi. ]

Yeah, but you should have both your best.. friends...

[He trails off as he notices the look on Sora's face. Is he blushing?]

Um... Did something happen?

[ That makes the blush worse, and the goofiest smile shows up on his face. ]

Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, Roxas.

[ That grin has to be contagious as wide as it is. ]

Kairi and me are dating now.

[There's a second of surprise before that smile does spread over to Roxas's face, although as usual his isn't quite as broad.]

When did that happen? Ah... [There's something he's supposed to say here.] Congratulations.

[ That didn't help. He looks away still smiling, and the blush is going up to his ears now. ]

About a month ago...

[ Sora was rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. Which meant they were actually already dating when they had the sleepover during the cold curse. Oops. ]

And you waited this long to say anything? Some brother you are.

[Roxas gives him a little shove.]

I could've been teasing you this whole time.

[ Sora laughs and tries to move away from the shove which of course only makes it worse. ]

Hey, I said I was sorry!

I just got caught up with stuff!

[ He pushed back a little. ]

Well- how is it?

[C'mon, he needs details.]

It...It's the best thing in the world.

[ Sora looked out to the ocean the smile still broad and obviously happy. ]

We had our first kiss that same day.

[ Sora was blushing again. ]

[There's a faint twinge of jealousy that softens his smile, but he hopes Sora won't notice.]

I'm happy for you.

[ Nice try Roxas. Even if Sora hadn't noticed it he's not completely dense. He looks back over his smile tempered just a bit. ]

I'm sorry about Axel.

[ Somehow he had a feeling the two weren't together again yet. He knew Roxas would say something if they were. ]

[Damn it, Sora, they're supposed to be going with happy feels here. Roxas shakes his head and does his best to wave it off.]

Don't worry about that. We're still really close friends. It's enough.

[ He can't help it okay! He knows it's probably not the best to parade this stuff in front of Roxas, maybe subconsciously that's why it took him so long to say something. ]

Yeah, you're right.

[ Besides it wasn't as if he'd ended up with both Riku and Kairi, and maybe that was a good thing in a way. ]

You'll always be best friends.

Right.

[Feeling jealous of Sora is nothing new. But he really wants him to be happy like this, and he wants to hear about it. Especially at the mention of 'best friends,' he doesn't want the conversation going back to Riku again.]

So tell me about Kairi. Have you taken her on dates and stuff?

[ Only if you insist Roxas. ]

Uh...[ Sora rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. ]

Actually we haven't gone on a date yet.

[ Sora wasn't too sure what to do. What could they do that wasn't something they did normally as friends anyway? ]

What, all month?

[Yeah, there've been curses and stuff, but still.]

You've gotta fix that.

We've hung out!

[ Kinda hard not to since they lived together. ]

But I don't really know what to do. I mean...we did a lot of date stuff when we were just friends?

[ Though usually Riku was with them too. ]

Well, you do stuff like go out to dinner or go stargazing...

Are you supposed to do something special?

That's stuff we'd do before.

[ Maybe not dinner so much, but...well it was a thought. ]

Really?

I dunno. That's the kind of stuff people said to do when I asked.

Maybe it's just different when you're dating someone.

[ That would make sense right? Sora thought for a moment before an idea sprang up in his head. ]

Okay, I think I know something we could do.

Maybe...

[When it comes down to it, he doesn't know much better than Sora.]

Yeah? Like what?

Well...we haven't done it in awhile so it'd be kind of nice if it was just us too. Back home we'd make fires on the beach and cook whatever fish we'd caught that day.

[ Nothing really huge, but it had been fun. ]

Maybe we could come up here and do that, not the catching fish part but the bonfire and having everything ready.

Hm... That could work. A bonfire sounds- kind of romantic, if it's dark out.
