[Video] The Wheel Keeps on Turning.

[ This time the announcement about Riku's departure is intentional. Sora's up on the island sitting on the beach. The sun is setting. He's had plenty of time since this morning to think about it, and he's actually able to smile a little at the camera. ]

Hey everyone, I just wanted you guys to know Riku went home again.

[ He forces the smile to stay on his face, acting as if everything's okay. He's sort of getting used to this by now, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt. ]

Kairi, if you didn't know yet, I'm sorry.

[ He actually seems a little sadder at that. He ends the transmission there without another word. Really there's nothing else to say. ]

I use this. [ Sora set the SFC down so he could get up and bring the Keyblade out for Sanji to see. ]

You still use it like a sword, so maybe you wont like it too much.

[ There's a slightly cocky smile on Sora's face. Opposing fighting styles or not Sora's confident he could win that fight. ]

It's not the swords themselves I don't like so much as the dumbass using them.

[But...the hell, what is that?]

That...looks like a giant key.

It's called a Keyblade.

[ Sora rested it on his shoulder, grinning. ]

Huh. I've never seen a weapon like that. You said you use it like a sword?

[Slow grin.]

You know, I'm pretty good at fighting against swordsmen.

[It's pretty much a daily occurrence on his ship, actually.]

Yup~

[ The grin on his own face shifted to a slightly cockier expression. ]

You think you can beat me?

I think it'd be an interesting fight.

We could try it.

[ It would help Sora get his mind off things at least. ]

[Sanji hasn't had a decent spar since he got here, so he is ALL for this.]

Hell, I'm up for it if you are.

There's an elevator down in the plaza. Head up here and I'm ---

[ Sora gave Sanji the directions to get to him. He was looking forward to this. They still had plenty of good daylight left before they'd end up fighting in the dark. ]

Yeah, I've actually been up there once before. It'll be good to get some shitty sunlight again. See you in a few!

[Sanji signs off, tucking his SFC away, and heads for the plaza. It won't take him too long to get up to the island, and luckily he at least knows the way.]

[ Sora's excited. He warms up a bit while he waits for Sanji to get to him. This was going to be great! ]

[Shows up where Sora is not much later, dressed in his usual suit pants and button-down shirt because spar or not, that's how he rolls. There's still a cigarette dangling at the corner of his mouth, and he lifts a hand in greeting.]

Yo!

Hey! Nice to see you in person.

[ Sora was wearing an outfit very similar to his normal clothes. Baggy khaki shorts an a dark blue tank with red trim around the neck and sleeves. It was warm enough that he hadn't bothered with his hoodie today. ]

Yeah, you too.

[Shades his eyes, looking out toward the ocean for a moment, except doing so just makes him yearn for his ship and crew back home, so he turns back to Sora, shoving his hands into his pockets and tapping the toe of his shoe against the ground in anticipation.]

So that's the Keyblade, huh?

Yup!

[ Sora held it out so Sanji could get a better look at it. It was simple for the moment. He'd only come to Vatheon with the Kingdom Key and he hadn't seen any other keychains laying around in the shops. Sora wondered what a Vatheon keychain would look like. ]

[Leans forward, examining it.]

Shit, it's seriously just a huge fucking key. [Huffs out a laugh.] I've sen a lot of different types of weapons before, but never one like that. Is it common where you're from?

Not really. I've only ever seen a few people have them, but I've heard there used to be a time when a lot of people did!

[ Sora looked down at the Keyblade thinking to himself. He looked back up then, not wanting to think too seriously on anything. ]

So, you ready?

[Raises an eyebrow.]

Is there a reason they all just...what, disappeared?

[Takes a few steps back, keeping his pose casual, feet slightly spread apart and hands still in his pockets.]

And yep, ready when you are.

There was a war.

[ Sora didn't know much more than that yet, but he was sure he'd learn more someday. ]

I wont go easy on you!

[ He rushed forward ready to attack with a horizontal slash. ]

...Oh.

[How a war manages to destroy most of one type of weapon, Sanji has no idea. Wouldn't they just make more? But he's not going to bother asking that right now, because he's too busy blocking that slash with a raised leg, the Keyblade catching the outside of his shoe.]

Heh, I hope not!

[He uses the Keyblade as something to push off of, and swings his opposite leg around at Sora's side while he's still in the air.]

[ Sanji was quick. That was exciting, since it meant Sora would have to keep on his toes. He jumped back just in time. He tried to swing the keyblade to catch Sanji's foot in the teeth to throw him off balance. ]

[The end of that Keyblade is a lot wider than Sanji is used to going up against, so he does misjudge it and can't adjust in time to dodge. It catches his foot, but instead of faceplanting in the sand, Sanji throws his hands out and winds up in a sort of half-handstand. Then he's immediately swiveling his hips around and swinging his legs down low, trying to sweep Sora's feet out from under him.]

[ Sora moved to jump back again, but one of Sanji's feet hit's his own and he falls back into the sand. He recovers quickly though, rolling to the side and getting back up on his feet preparing to counter if Sanji comes at him. ]

[Which he does, pushing off with his hands and landing easily on one foot, sending the other in a side kick directly toward Sora's chest, though he expects it will probably be blocked by the Keyblade.]

[ Which it does. Sora brings both hands up along the shaft of the blade to take the force of the kick. He slips back in the sand but his balance is sure.

Sanji's strong, but so is Sora. He pushes back against the blade with his hands putting as much of is strength into it as he can. ]
