[Saix really doesn't want to admit it, because that would make Axel right, but it's simply fact that he realizes once he's back in his own body instead of stuck in Axel's. It reminded him of what it felt like to be Isa a little bit, and it also reminded him of how it had felt when he had first joined the Organization. How he is now is... different. It's the Darkness. It feels thicker, like a heavy fog. He knows he's done some horrible things in the name of his goal, but never cared because the end justified the means. Still, this almost feels like too much.]

[Saix spends the day trying to convince himself that he's just letting himself fall into the same delusional trap that Axel has, but in the end, he has to know.]

I'm curious, but are there any in Vatheon who are knowledgeable in the spiritual heart of a person? Perhaps the better, more general word would be 'soul'.

[A body, a mind, and a 'heart'- that's what makes a person, isn't it? But take away the 'heart', have it be lost to Heartless, and you're left with a body and a mind. A Nobody...]

Oh, what is the context you're used to?

Simply separated? In what circumstances? [Because well, a colleague and good friend of his has the power to bind souls!]

In the universe I am from, there are creatures called 'Heartless'- creatures created of darkness. They seek out the hearts of both people and Worlds themselves. They force the heart out and it becomes corrupted by Darkness as well, turning into yet another Heartless.

That leaves behind the empty husk of a body and a mind, but if the will is strong enough, than the body can keep going separate from its heart. Such a being is called a 'Nobody', unable to feel emotion or connect with other individuals.

I see... that is rather similar to what Kors do in mine, I suppose... Though they don't separate the soul from the body.

Well, a heart or soul that has been corrupted by Darkness can be purified. That's what I do as a bishop. And if the will of the Nobody really is so strong... I don't see what its soul can't be returned to it. I, myself, do not possess this power but a friend of mine back home is able to bind souls to bodies.

A shame that he isn't here then. I'm sure it would be interesting to talk to him.

[Not that it would do much good without Isa's Heartless around... Saix wasn't even sure what it looked like. Heartless all tended to look like one another, it was near impossible to tell most of them apart.]

What are Kors?

Kors are creatures of darkness that trick people with twisted promises so that they may corrupt their souls and take over their bodies.

I assume there's no way for them to appear here?

I'm not sure... If this place is able to pull all kinds of people from different worlds... There's really no stopping them from bringing some Kors here, is there?

I imagine those in control would need a reason for it first.
