[Audio/Action]
[When the SFC turns on it appears that it was accidental. There's no video to indicate where the troll might be, though the sounds might make it easier to guess. In the background, the sea can be heard, washing in and spraying up over rocky outcroppings. Over that, however, there's a quiet, lilting hum, interspersed now and then with words - singing.
The Dolorosa doesn't sing often. Late in her life she had no reason to, but things are different now. She can allow herself happiness now without worrying every moment that it might be taken from her.
Anyone on the island would find her on the beach, barefoot in the sand and wearing a white summer dress embroidered with jade patterns around the hem. She's walking lightly, allowing the natural glow of her skin to shine softly and she's half-humming, half-singing some old song that perhaps she might have lulled Signless to sleep with when he was very small. It's been so long that she's forgotten half the words, but the melody is still intact.]
((feel free to ping either her SFC or go for action! She's not affected by this week's curse :>))

Need an accompaniment?
[Perhaps a familiar, and charming as ever voice, hm?]
Audio
Had I known I might draw a stranger out with my performance I might have endeavoured to do it sooner.

[There's a smile in her voice.]
Perhaps my memory does require a little prompting. How would you facilitate that?
Audio
Uh- well I dunno, starting by asking where you are, but I already know that. I guess it'd be good to just ask though, polite and all.

[And she does. The Summoner has a kind of energy that she can't help but enjoy being around.
She'll make her way to the elevator, then, either to wait for him or meet him should he already be there.]

take right back to the skies again though.]
[But he has company here, and he gives her a wide smile, fangs glinting as he moves over to greet her more personally.]
[A nod, hands on his pockets.]
Hey you.

action
At first she starts off walking next to the Dolorosa, but that only lasts up until she sees a seashell a little ways up on the shore. She runs over and picks it up, and she brings it back to the Dolorosa to proudly show it off.]
Look what I found!
action
Though she'd never seen herself taking charge of a human child, she's found Yotsuba to be far easier to take care of than a troll youngster. Less biting, for one.]
That is very pretty, little one. Perhaps, if you find enough, we might make jewellery with them. What do you think?
action
Shell necklaces! Let's make shell necklaces!
[And she turns to go run ahead and find more shells, but she stops suddenly as she remember something. Then she turns back to the Dolorosa and holds up the shell.]
Can you hold it?
action
[She takes the one being offered to her, curling her fingers around it and nodding once.]
Do you think that you can find enough?
action
[And she takes off running, stopping every so often to crouch down and grab another shell.
Some of them are crap shells, by the way. She's grabbing every one she can see, regardless of if they have chips or pieces missing.]
action
We will be able to make many things with these. Do you have anyone that you would like to make gifts for?
action
[She has to think about that for a moment.]
Birthday gifts? When's Candy-horns' birthday?
action
[In her hands, one of the little shells.. moves. There appears to be a tiny crustacean calling the shell its home. She makes a soft sound of surprise.]
Yotsuba, I think that you have disturbed this one. Put him back, dear.
[action]
In theory. There's a moment where Kurloz doesn't notice her, when he's still staring out to sea, and his thoughts are dominated by the image of a mergoat. But something pulls his attention away, down toward her, and his thoughts, too, reflect that- an image of the Porrim he knows pops into his head, and thus appears behind him.]
[action]
Ah.. is that the Porrim you know?
[Jadeblood, strikingly similar in appearance, tattoos.. Karkat had mentioned tattoos.]
You must be related to Gamzee.
[action]
Very deliberately, he thinks out 'Kurloz', and sure enough, it appears in his bubble. The 'Makara' that fills in after it is mostly a formality.]
[action]
[She says it aloud if only to ensure she has the pronunciation correct, but that second name - Makara - that needs no sounding out. That's a name she knows.]
What brings you up here, young one?
[action]
[action]
[She recognises that moon, though the absence of the other that she's used to is one she notes.]
You are thinking of your lusus?
[action]
[action]
You are quite correct. She was my lusus for a time. [She moves a little closer to him, looking out to sea.] I had always thought.. that it must be difficult for a land dwelling caste to have sea dwelling lusii.
