[Gasp! It's a rare video appearance from ~~the chia pet~~ N! Unfortunately he doesn't look too happy. In fact he seems almost... sad. Cradled in one arm is an egg, and his hat is actually off for once.]

I went by Wally's place. I hadn't seen him in a while and I wanted to check on him.

[There's a pause here, and that 'almost sad' actually becomes very clearly sad. N wasn't much of a people person, but he did like Wally, and he was one of the few people N was willing to be friends with almost instantly.]

He's been sent home. His team went with him, but his Swablu egg was left behind. I'm going to care for it.

... I'm... sorry to anyone who was friends with him. ... he was a good trainer...

[And with that, N shuts the feed off]

Okay. I'll be here when you return.

[ Armed with hugs, if he wants them. ]

[He might actually accept hugs, because he is feeling pretty bad.]

I'll be home soon.

Okay.

[ And so the wait for him to return home begins. ]

[Luckily it doesn't take long, a half an hour at most, before he's unlocking the door and coming in with a grocery bag and an egg.]

I'm home!

[ She meets him at the door, holding her arms out to take whatever N wants to give to her. She's expecting the grocery bag, really. ]

Welcome home. I take it everything else went well?

[That's exactly what she gets. He's being protective of the egg. It's not that he doesn't trust her - he just feels responsible for it.]

Yes.

[ Yep, she expected as much. She's not offended or anything. She takes the bag of groceries and places it down on the kitchen counter, but she doesn't put anything away yet. She's got something more important to do first.

Hilda moves back over toward him, and holds her arms out to him again. ]

Come over here.

[ You're getting a hug, mister. You need it. ]

Hm?

[O-oh... hugs. Okay...

He moves in to the kitchen, awkwardly accepting the hug from her.]

... thank you.

[ She hugs him tightly, resting her head against the bottom of his chest .... this is one of those things that makes her realize how tiny she is. ]

You seemed like you needed this. It's no fun, losing someone you really care about.

[Tiny Hilda is tiny.]

He... treated his team well. Like friends.

[Hilda how does i emotion]

[ This is your not yet girlfriend, N. She is ridiculously tiny. ]

He was a good trainer, then. I can see why you liked him.

[ You can emotion, N. You can do it. ]

[Tiny and adorable. ~~with dat ass~~]

He'll be alright back in his home.

[Buuuuut... come on, N. You can do this.]

... I think... I'll miss him.

[ ~~She does have a nice ass.~~

Hilda nods against his chest in response, though. ]

I think he'll miss you, too. Even if he doesn't remember this place.

That's wishful thinking. But... it would be nice, if he did.

Maybe there will be a part of him that remembers. Someone as important to him as you must have been can't just be erased like that. Not really.

I... suppose there's some truth to that.

And besides ...

[ She pulls away a little to look at him. ]

You're pretty unforgettable. I don't think there are many people out there who would be able to forget you.

[ She smiles. ]

I know I couldn't. Nor would I want to.

[ Is that a blush?

That's a blush. Hilda's smiling sheepishly. ]

[There's no answer, but he does nod, trying to hide his face.]

[ And now Hilda is standing on her tippy toes and trying to make N stop hiding his face. She doesn't mind seeing you blush ~ ]
