[Wet? Yes. Annoyed? Most definitely. Quietly panicking because where is he and he had been flying after Father intent on yelling at him or...something...yup, that too.
Trunks has really had enough of surprises for one day. Nothing is going the way it should be going. It was history, how much could it change? First the delay of Goku's illness, then the new androids, and now...this. Whatever 'this' was.
Where ever this was.
He'd been powered up when he arrived--he couldn't help that, he'd been flying at very nearly his full speed after all. But once he has the communicator figured out, he has a tight hold on his power--anyone capable of sensing it would get practically nothing off of him.]
Excuse me...could someone tell me what's going on here? Where is this?
[Short and to the point. Someone really hasn't been having a good day. He'd give his name, but...he's still under the impression that he needs to be all secretive about his time traveling/being from the future.Silly boy, everyone can read you like a billboard anyway.]

He can't just leave it to chance. The prince makes his way to the plaza, and unlike Trunks, he can't hide his energy signature just yet. Still, he's physically hiding himself, glancing at the new arrival from behind a corner. He turns on his scouter quietly, frowning at the reading. This kid must be unrelated to whatever it was that he had felt.]
no subject
...except Trunks doesn't need a scouter, and he's on high alert anyway. He feels something, and it's a very vaguely familiar feeling.
...what, he's only met you twice, Vegeta. He can probably be pardoned not recognizing your power signature instantly.
He tries to make the turn to look around seem natural as possible, but he is looking.]

Take it.

Staring, frankly.
The only reason he catches the towel before it smacks him in the face is his reflexes, it definitely wasn't a conscious action because his thoughts are busy going 'WHAT THE HELL. WHAT THE HELL THAT IS MY FATHER AND HE'S ALL YOUNG AND WHAT']
Um...thanks.
[...that was totally smooth and not suspicious at all and just going to nonchalantly dry my head off now.]

There's a welcome center over there. They have a brochure.
[Vegeta starts to just walk past Trunks, then pauses.
That scent.
It's human, but it's also... no, he has to be imagining it, no Saiyan is that weak at this age! He's staring right back at Trunks now, looking a little bewildered.]
no subject
...and not being around other people with as good a nose as Saiyans tend to have for a while, Trunks has forgotten that his smell can just as easily give him away as his power level. But he definitely notices the bewildered look.]
...is something wrong?

[You know, Lloyd could really get used to this whole actually knowing enough about things to help other people out, instead of the other way around.]
[Dryly. He's dripping water everywhere, confused, and standing with a giant backdrop of god-coral, whatchu think.]
You need any help? You might be stuck here for a while. No one seems to know how to get us back to our homes. I've been looking for a month, but I haven't found a way, either.
A month...?
[Seriously he does not have the time for this. Even with a time machine. It's batteries only hold so much juice, man.]
What brought all of us here?
I think so? I mean, it feels like a month to me, but my friends said time doesn't pass for us back home. I don't get how it works, but...
[He shrugs. He really doesn't have an explanation, but he trusts his friends that much. They sounded pretty certain when they explained things to him, and he hasn't found anything to prove them wrong yet.]
The coral brought us here. That one you're standing in front of.
...that's good, I guess.
[He'll take it for now. Also, at the mention of the coral, he glances behind him. Seriously? A colony of tiny marine invertebrates?]
...you're joking. The coral brought us here.
[He does not belieeeve.]

Different world as in planet, or dimension?
Dimension... I think.
[Trunks is not the skilled inventor that his mother is--her work is so far beyond him that, even if her time machine is probably rather close to an interdimensional mode of travel, Trunks can't make the alterations to utilize it.
Nope, he's just as stuck as everyone else.]
[In times like this, he doesn't know what else he could say.]
[First being in an alternate dimension, then meeting your two-years-older-than-you father who should be about 20 years older...and also kinda proving handily that he's the stronger one and argh this is so frustrating.]
It's fine. Or it will be.
...my name is Trunks, by the way.
