Video: Training partners wanted

How many of you here in this city know how to fight? I'm going to get rusty at this rate. Anyone who has a bone structure so weak that they can't withstand the pressure of the ocean outside unaided need not apply. I'd prefer those that know how to use their ki, but any physical fighter will do. If your weapon does all your fighting for you, don't bother. I want someone with a strong body.

[He tries to keep the incredulous look from spreading across his face, he really does. It's mostly a failure.]

[Come on, he's not looking for a slaughter here! Though that could be fun too...]

[She see that look but you better believe she doesn't give a shit about it.]

You seem surprised. I'm not as weak as I appear.

[Vegeta looks uncomfortable. It's not as if he's against fighting women in general, but... attractive, helpful women who have been nothing but nice to him? Not the first on his list of "people to punch". He clears his throat.]

I wouldn't want to harm you inadvertently. Are you sure about this?

[If she knew that, she would probably think that's sweet of you. But trust me, she can take care of herself.]

It's just sparring Vegeta. Besides, should I take any bad injuries it's my own fault.

So to answer your question, yes, I'm sure.

...alright, then. Can you fly?

[She said she was a dragon, right? Dragons can fly. Vegeta hates it when his opponent is restricted to the ground.]

Yes. Just give me a location and I'll be there shortly.

Very well. I'll be at the abandoned amusement park.

[He turns off his SFC and flies out the window. Vegeta's fast, it only takes him a few moments to get there. The area is already ruined, so he has no qualms about ruining it further.]

Be there shortly.

[And sure enough, she's there. She reaches the amusement park a few minutes after Vegeta, her bluish wings flapping one final time before she lands.]

I'm here.

[And with that, her body glows a purple color, her arms transforming into massive purple claws, her horns expanding to their full length, and her razor sharp spiked tail sprouting from her back. Once the light fades, her new form is revealed, hovering about a foot off the ground.]

Ready when you are.

[Vegeta has to suppress the urge to take his scouter out of his pocket (he's taken to wearing normal clothes to preserve his armor) and check her power level. He does set it far to the side so that it doesn't get damaged in the conflict.]

Winner carries the loser to the coral?

[He takes a wide stance, calling his ki up around him and causing any light objects in the vicinity to go flying.]

[That little comment earns you a smirk Vegeta. She laughs a bit, before replying.]]

Don't worry, I won't drop you on the way there.

[She flaps her wings, kicking up a bit of dust and dirt in the air.]

[The dust doesn't bother him one bit. He flies right at her with his fist charged and pointed towards her torso, his own body tucked into a tight ball to cover his own weak spots. He can't cover his tail, but there's no helping that.]

[Charging head on? A simple maneuver, though it was clever to tuck his body like that. She merely flaps her wings and flies straight up in the air, about ten feet. Once he reaches where she was previously, she dives down with her sharp horns aiming for his back.

~~Totally not trying to impale him, duh.~~]

[It would have surprised him significantly more to find her suddenly behind him. His opponent flying away slightly? THAT Vegeta can deal with.

The prince charges a nasty blast, sending it right towards her head before flying off to the side, trying to avoid those horns just in case she doesn't try to dodge and goes straight through the ball of energy.]

[She's saving her surprises for later, Vegeta. However, that blast causes her to stop. She inhales deeply, then let's out and holds a simple "laaaaaaaaaaa~" which lets loose a red shockwave, knocking the kai blast away while heading straight for Vegeta.]

[She... just deflected his ki with her voice. He looks bewildered for half a second before moving to meet her, reaching out to grab at her arms. The time for dodging is over as far as he's concerned.]

[Grabbing at her arms is a dangerous manvuer, especially with the flexibility of her tail. While she allows him to grab her wrists, she also manages to snag his as well. And now, her sharp and pointed tail is aiming straight for his shoulder.

[His shoulder is impaled. Usually that would send someone into shock, but after the initial gasp of pain...

Vegeta smiles. It's a deranged smile. The pain feels good, he's been after that since he came to this place. He can only hold onto one of her wrists now but he does so, drawing his ki up to his mouth with a dangerous glow.

Two could play at the voice game. He yells, sending his energy towards her in a rush. It will be difficult to stop it or dodge at this close range, but not entirely impossible.]

[If you think she's gonna run away or try to dodge, fuq dat shit, yo! She's opening her mouth as well and letting loose another "laaaa~" except this time the shockwave's black, and going to hurt a lot more than her last number. And probably damage her in the process at this range, but who the hell gives a shit about that.

The kai blast sends her spinning towards the ground, but she rights herself after a bit just before crashing. That Psycho Voice should have done a number on him at that range, so she goes to look over where Vegeta is...or was, depending on how things turned out.

[The voice sends tremors through his bones. He's never fought someone that could do anything like that before, so he goes crashing to the ground. Vegeta pulls himself to his feet, bleeding slightly. Most of his clothing is gone, and chances are that he's taken a lot more damage internally than what's showing on the outside.

And he's angry. He lets out a roar, unleashing everything he's got on Rhi'a and the surrounding area in a final flash.]

[OHSHIT OHSHIT OHSHIT OHSHIT, GIANT BLAST COMING FOR HER !EWFWFWE# WHAT DO

Block her face and still get hit by it, that's what do. Thankfully, she was out of the way of the main blast so she only took a decent some of damage and got flung into one of the non-working rides.

...wait, that still sounds painful.]

Ugggghhh...

[After a few minutes, she peels herself off the wall she was stuck to, and flies over to Vegeta...though she ends up walking half the way, her wings her hurt pretty badly. Might as well check to see if he's still conscious.]

[Vegeta is completely unconscious in the rather large crater that he's made for himself. Most of his clothing has been blown to pieces, save for some very convenient parts of his pants remaining where it counts. He's also smiling in his sleep.

It turns out that losing doesn't completely upset him.]

[Oh hey look, he's out cold. Rhi'a is just gonna...poke him with her foot to double check if he's out or not.

...

...okay, no response. She'll just pick him and fly over to the coral...stopping every so often to rest because DAMMIT IT, HER BEAUTIFUL WINGS ;W;

Anyway, she finally reaches the corals and lay him down, moving his hand to touch it before touching it herself. Then, she moves him out of the way and sings a healing song, which should recover both their injuries fully...or close enough to it.

He should wake up soon enough feeling fine.]

Vegeta? Vegeta? You can wake up now.

[Just gonna...kneel down and poke poke at his ribs :D]

[He would be angry about the indignity of being poked by her foot if he was awake, dammit!

But he's not. He's not even close to conscious until she pokes him. He looks up at her with slight confusion before remembering what had just happened.]

Heh. That was... interesting.

[She just smiles and overs him a hand to help him up.]

Indeed it was. It's been a long time since I had a fight like that.

You were a very worthy opponent.

[He could tell how experienced she was when they fought, so he shakes his head as he stands.]

I have gotten out of practice.

[It had been so hard to fight her and not just lose it with as pent up as he was. He felt a lot better now, though.]
