[To those who've seen Lea around, they might have noticed a little fox like creature follow him around. What crawls onto his lap doesn't look anything like that. The fluff, the tan and brown, all of that... Not there. What is in his lap and peering into the screen is something else entirely. It's this little guy instead.]

[And then it makes a trademark Chocobo 'waaaaark'.]

So, uh, I think Arden... evolved, that's the word, right? Eevee can turn into seven different forms, aaaand... Espeon. [He snas his fingers.] There we go. I don't suppose anyone can tell me more about this little guy?

[Another wark. Despite looking like a cat, or a fox, Arden certainly seems more prone to making bird noises than anything.]

Also, uh-

[A chirp, but offscreen this time, and a small little ball of feathery fluff flops onto Arden's head. It's yellow, like any chocobo chick, but something seems to... glow about it. Lea flushes.]

The egg hatched. The, uh, chocobo egg that Stein left behind ages ago.

Heck no, this one isn't from Radiant Garden. [Lea grins as he picks up Arden, letting the chickling flutter up to hide in his red hair.] Arden's from another world entirely! Some of the people who've been here are from this world where they have these animals called Pokemon that can do really cool stuff! When they have enough experience or something, they can turn into a different form! Like growin' up. Or like bugs. I guess. Hold on!

[Bolting off-screen with Arden in tow before he comes back a minute later with a book.]

Also, a gallery of odd beasts would be rad, let's not lie to ourselves here. Anyway... [Flip, flip, flip... Found it! Lea turns the book to face the SFC, where it's opened to a page with a picture of Eevee in the middle and arrows pointing to seven other creatures, Arden's new Espeon form among them.] It's like this!

Normally, evolving Eevee needs a stone or something, but if they're really happy with ya, they can turn into a Espeon or this one called an Umbreon. So I've been keepin' this collar on him that would keep him from evolvin', because I figured he needed some time before he could decide what he wanted to be, but I took his collar off this morning to give him a bath, and, uh...

[Arden makes another, rather pleased Chocobo 'wark!'.]

Would you base, I dunno, fights and stuff based on what you've seen on tv?

That said, as I have learned over the passing of the year and months I've been here, movies aren't always true to life on that subject either. But that doesn't mean they can't teach you anything. Movies are what taught me the bulk and basis of my romantic knowledge, and they are at the least a good source of ideas.
