[There's a crunch of static as the SFC comes to life for the first time. At first, there's only the sound of fumbling, a small gasp as the communicator clatters to the ground, and then a voice as it's picked back up again.]

So if that button is audio then this one must be--

[Then, video feed appears. Some may be greeted by a girl's face, short locks of black hair dripping water. Others may see one of their friends as if they'd arrived in the bubble for the first time again. Most, however, will probably only see a small figure whose face is obscured by a black hood. Regardless of the image, the voice remains the same as she begins to speak. She seems to be choosing her words carefully.]

...Uh, hello?

[It's the voice that gets his attention first, because it sounds like Kairi but somehow he knows it isn't Kairi. Then he sees the feed, and... she looks a lot like Kairi, too, but she's someone else. A stranger?]

You're...

[No. He doesn't know who she is. He frowns, feeling like there's something wrong with that, and then shakes his head.]

Are you- okay? [Maybe it's a stupid question, she's probably just confused, but it's the best he can manage.]

Roxas do you know--

[She catches herself too late. As far as she knows, everything went according to plan aside from her continued existence and change of location. Why would he still remember her?]

N-nevermind. Can you tell me where I am?

This city's called Vatheon.

[He answers her question almost mechanically, to get it out of the way and because it's easy.]

How... do you know me?

[She nods over the camera at his response. Figures she'd slip up so soon, she never really expected to see him again so soon.]

I... [She wonders if she can come up with a decent excuse, but eventually sighs and settles for the truth.]

I am- was, I guess- one of your friends.

What do you mean "was"?

...I forgot you?

[Like he forgot Axel? But Axel hasn't said anything about her... Wouldn't he know?]

...Yeah.

[Her next breath is shaky. She's not really sure how to go about this since she had barely even started to disappear in the first place before ending up here.]

But it was my choice. I doubt you're the only one who's forgotten.

[Even if it wasn't his fault, even if it's happened to everyone, that doesn't make it okay. You aren't supposed to forget your friends.]

...I'm sorry.

[She manages to smile at him, albeit sadly.]

There wasn't anything anyone could've done about it. I don't blame you.

[And he hates to have to ask, but...]

[She'll figure out why she's still here later, right now she just appreciates more time with her friends.]

[In just a few minutes, Roxas has portaled to the plaza and is looking around for her. Well, since they're in matching coats it shouldn't be hard for one of them to spot the other..]

[She does indeed spot him rather quickly. She walks to him, wondering how to answer his questions.]

[Ah, there she is. He smiles faintly, albeit still rather uncertainly. It's not that he distrusts her in any way--that in itself is unusual enough that it's reason to believe her--but being in this position all over again... Not even knowing someone who calls him a friend... He definitely feels that he's missing something.]

[She gives him a stronger smile, noting his unease. She couldn't really imagine what it would be like for her to return without anyone remembering her, and honestly never thought she'd find out.]

So what did you want to know?

[Well, she's certainly taking this better than Axel did.]

...how- did we meet? Were you in the Organization?

[She has the coat, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything because even Mickey had one of those for some reason.]

[I suppose expecting to be forgotten helps]

Yeah. I came in a week after you and you helped me get adjusted. I don't remember a whole lot from that first week, but I'm certain of that much.

My first week was- fuzzy, too.

[She was there right from the start, too? He should remember her.]
