[There's a crunch of static as the SFC comes to life for the first time. At first, there's only the sound of fumbling, a small gasp as the communicator clatters to the ground, and then a voice as it's picked back up again.]

So if that button is audio then this one must be--

[Then, video feed appears. Some may be greeted by a girl's face, short locks of black hair dripping water. Others may see one of their friends as if they'd arrived in the bubble for the first time again. Most, however, will probably only see a small figure whose face is obscured by a black hood. Regardless of the image, the voice remains the same as she begins to speak. She seems to be choosing her words carefully.]

...Uh, hello?

[She manages to smile at him, albeit sadly.]

There wasn't anything anyone could've done about it. I don't blame you.

[And he hates to have to ask, but...]

Xion ...and I'm really glad I get to meet you again.

[She'll figure out why she's still here later, right now she just appreciates more time with her friends.]

Um, are you at the plaza, with the big coral?

[In just a few minutes, Roxas has portaled to the plaza and is looking around for her. Well, since they're in matching coats it shouldn't be hard for one of them to spot the other..]

[She does indeed spot him rather quickly. She walks to him, wondering how to answer his questions.]

Hi.

[Ah, there she is. He smiles faintly, albeit still rather uncertainly. It's not that he distrusts her in any way--that in itself is unusual enough that it's reason to believe her--but being in this position all over again... Not even knowing someone who calls him a friend... He definitely feels that he's missing something.]

Hey. Xion.

[She gives him a stronger smile, noting his unease. She couldn't really imagine what it would be like for her to return without anyone remembering her, and honestly never thought she'd find out.]

So what did you want to know?

[Well, she's certainly taking this better than Axel did.]

...how- did we meet? Were you in the Organization?

[She has the coat, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything because even Mickey had one of those for some reason.]

[I suppose expecting to be forgotten helps]

Yeah. I came in a week after you and you helped me get adjusted. I don't remember a whole lot from that first week, but I'm certain of that much.

My first week was- fuzzy, too.

[She was there right from the start, too? He should remember her.]

So you know Axel and everyone?

More or less. You and Axel the best, though.

The three of us were friends?

Yeah. I don't know what I would've done without you two.

[That's about how he feels about Axel, but... Roxas frowns.]

Then, how come- how come we don't remember you? Was it Namine?

It wasn't Naminè. She was the one who explained a lot of this to me, actually.

[She pauses and takes a deep breath, trying to remember as much of what Naminè told her as she could. Her nature as a replica is only something she'd just come to understand herself and she doesn't want to make this more confusing for him than it already is.]

It... I think it had more to do with the memories I was made from than anything.

Made from...

[He shakes his head. Shouldn't they just be her Other's memories?]

I don't understand.

[Now that she has time to explain everything she never could, she's having a hard time getting the words out.]

I'm not a nobody like you, I'm just a replica. I was made from Sora's memories, and when they went back where they belonged, there wasn't anything left of me to remember.

[Roxas takes a while to chew on that. He's still not sure that he understands. Can you make a person? But then, everyone in that fake Twilight Town... He doesn't like thinking about it, and he's really not sure how much of that was programming and how much they were able to act on their own, but they did try to help him out. They'd understood there was something wrong with the place, and meant to do something about it. If that's possible, then can you make a person?

Maybe, you can make a Nobody. Nobodies don't have hearts. What they have are memories. Except, he didn't, when he was born.]

But... what about your memories?

My memories?

[The question catches her off guard. She'd expected him to need to think about what she'd just said. She didn't exactly have a thorough understanding of it herself, only what effect it had. What happened after? She didn't get the chance to find out.]

The memories... we must've made together. That have nothing to do with Sora.

I still have them now, obviously. I don't know what would have happened to them after I disappeared, though. I didn't stay long enough to find out.

[She hesitates for a moment.]

Can I ask what the last thing you remember is? Before coming here, I mean.
