Oh, I thought it was fast that I got bored. [He grins] Well, I am pretty good at this stuff, you know.

It's impressive! You aren't bored here, though, are you? If that's the case, I'm not doing my job.

[ It's not entirely clear if that should be ominous or not... ]

[Hmm, slightly ominous, yes]

I'm pretty bored! But Equius is going to make me eyes, so that helps.

I know what would give you something to do. If I come over, will you go for a walk with me?

Yeah, okay. That sounds pretty nice.

Okay! I'll be over in a little bit, since I have to walk there. Unlike some trolls, I can't fly!

[Snickers] Take your time.

[ She certainly makes good time, at least. She's eager to talk to him. There's a lot on her mind, regarding more than one topic, and it's been almost a week now, right? That's more than enough time to get settled.

When she arrives, she knocks on the door then stands back. ]

[He finds his way to the door and opens it]

Um, ff?

[Hey, today it could be Eridan, too. Or someone else.]

Oh! Yes, it's Feferi! Sorry, I'm not used to...

[ Probably shouldn't have started that sentence. She trails off and uses the break to step forward, reaching out to take his hands in hers. ]

How are you?

[He relaxes at the sound of her voice and smiles shyly, allowing her to take his hand and squeezing it lightly.]

I'm okay, other than, you know. [He points at his eye sockets, covered by her goggles...oops, he might have rethought that particular fashion choice. Maybe she won't notice.]

H-how are you doing?

[ She does notice, but doesn't say anything. It's oddly cute, if not a bit troubling when she stops to think about where he got them. But she's more interested in pulling him into a hug than fretting over her dead self. ]

I'm doing well. Are you ready to go?

[Hugs are nice, yeah. He's 0kay with hugs, and he hugs her back warmly]

Yeah, I'm ready.

Alright. Come on.

[ She detaches herself but stays close, looping her arms around his so that they can walk shoulder to shoulder. Having to guide him is a good excuse for it, anyway. She takes him outside and down the street, with no real goal other than to just amble about. ]

So... do you like it here so far? Now that you've had some time to settle in?

[He holds onto her and lets her lead, trusting her not to bash him into anything. It's so frustrating not to be able to see, but talking to her is nice, and wandering around is less boring than lying in bed]

Well, it's hard to like it when I haven't really gotten to experience it at all. But Equius is making me eyes, so that'll help. [A slight pause] I like that everyone's here, and not dead, though.

Equius? I haven't talked to him in a while. Maybe I will, just to thank him.

[ Even if he's still not her favorite troll in the bubble right now. It reminds her, though, that she needs to get on with this discussion. ]

There's so much to tell you about, I don't know where to start.

[He's not Sollux' favourite troll, either. But he might be improving just a bit in his eyes]

Well, I guess it doesn't matter where you start. I've heard some things, already. Why don't you tell me what you've been up to?

Maybe we can start with Equius, since we're already talking about him. You know he was moirails with another me that was here.

[ She stops herself, realizing how ridiculous that sounds. ]

Or I guess I was here before, and then didn't remember when I came back. And to make a long story short, we're kind of not talking anymore because he doesn't want to be friends.

Oh, shit. [His jaw is already on the ground] I cannot picture that. At least me being kismeses with Eridan sort of makes sense. [He pauses] Er, when I was here before, I was kismeses with Eridan, right?

I guess. [ She shrugs. She never really bothered to ask that much after Sollux's quadrants. ] It's kind of a mess but I guess it's not a big deal right now. I just didn't want it coming up and being a surprise.

Speaking of Eridan though... how much have you gotten to talk to him?

I just wasn't sure if he and Equius were fucking with me. It's weird showing up somewhere and being told - hey, just so you know, some other timeline version of you is in quadrants with some guy you don't know that well.

[He sighs] Let's just say I've probably spent a lot more time talking to him in the last few days than I did in my whole life before coming to Vatheon.

Well... he's different.

[ So awkward. So so awkward. ]

I know this is going to sound weird, but you have to trust me on this one! He's changed in good ways. And if you're not comfortable with him, I understand.

But I think we're starting to work things out. For real this time!

Yeah, I've figured out that he's different... He's KK's matesprit, which - wow - I would not have called. He's not even being a douche about his blood or anything, so far as I can tell.

[He hesitates]

Working things out? You mean like...you and him?
