[The video feed snaps on abruptly, though it is shadowy and hard to see. This is likely because it is quite dark, between the fog and it being near midnight.

Not that there's much time to admire the view, because then there's a face pressed against the SFC. It is so close that only an eye and a cheek can be seen, but the face--and the ragged breathing--are distinctly feminine.]

[Her voice is strained, panicked, and she glances over her shoulder quickly.]

[Suddenly, the SFC clatters to the ground. But there is only time for one more scream before the SFC cuts off--

A local would be the likely answer. It's difficult for foreigners to even get in contact with locals unless the locals initiate the conversation first, right? We can't completely eliminate the idea of a foreigner culprit, but let's think about the more probable option first.

I watched the same video you did, and I'm afraid there's no indication as to it's location. The fog is a bit thick. If I had to hazard a guess though, I would think that this would be somewhere near the plaza, near the last murder. [sigh] I am on my way there now.

Yes, there have been. many other attempted to collect information at the site. I believe I remember the name Charlotte coming up during that investigation. I admire your zeal but I must ask you to exercise restraint. We don't know who's doing this, and many people are likely to be meeting at this spot as we speak. I'm almost to the plaza now, coming from the south. I haven't seen or heard anything yet.

I just know that there's going to be many interested parties trying to investigate this. It will be counterproductive if infighting and accusations occur, and with so many... spirited individuals here in this city, I could see that happening all too easily. Who said anything about infighting? We just get there, find the people responsible, and smash them!

That does sound like a plan, but what if the only people we find are innocent, arriving before us to investigate? I would just like to advocate due diligence in determining who is responsible. Hopefully we can find the perpetrator quickly; the last killing was extensive. The killer took time to leave plenty of messages. If they have stuck again we might be able to catch him or her in the act.

I can tell the difference between people who are innocent and people who are guilty! I'm not stupid! And if I get the wrong person somehow, we can just settle the truth out with our fists!

Yes, she can. It only takes a few seconds, so it is an effective and more efficient manner of determining guilt than trying to "find the truth with your fists". Combined our strengths overlap each others weaker areas to make us more effective than we would be alone, so let's try to work together.
