Day 3 - [Accidental Video]

[The face showing up on the screen has got to be familiar to a lot of people by now, what with two other versions of it running about. In fact, since Roxas is wearing a generic black shirt instead of his Organization coat, it would be easy to mistake him for Ventus. A frowning Ventus. He has a look of concentration, or possibly annoyance.

He's trying to do something with the communicator, but clearly he doesn't realize it's already recording.]

I thought she said there was a list of people... Stupid thing.

[Awkward silence. Gil's old friend.]

S-So, hey, wait, did I introduce myself, I can't remember...

You didn't.

[Nice manners, Roxas. This is the part where you could introduce yourself first.]

Oh, bit of a brain fart on my part, huh? Ahah..haha...er, ahem. I'm Gilbert, Gilbert Weillschmidt. Or you can call me Prussia. Not really picky, both names are awesome.

...I think Prussia's easier to say. [What the heck is Weillschmidt?]

I'm Roxas.

Roxy? [Another guy with a girly name] Well, nice t'meet you! Always great to find new allies in this weirdo world.

It's Roxas. [He frowns. He doesn't realize Prussia thinks it's girly but he doesn't like being nicknamed by a near stranger.]

[kivaember]

Yeah, that's what I said, Roxy. [Blinks]

[coolerthansora]

No, it's not.

[kivaember]

[Gilbert scratches his head. Maybe Roxy was embarrassed over his girly name. Something manlier then.] Okay...Rox?

Roxas.

Are you doing that on purpose?

[kivaember]

[Forgive him, he's almost a thousand years old, and only hears what he wants to hear] Doing what on purpose? I'm saying your name. [He pouts] Roxy, Rox, Roxanne, Roxo, Roxas, tell me if I'm pronouncing it right. [English isn't his first language, after all]

Wha- [Roxanne??]

Roxas? [Wrinkles his nose, muttering it a few more times. Not exactly an easy name to pronounce with a German accent] Roxas. O..kay, I think I have it.

[coolerthansora]

[Compared to Weillschmidt, it's super easy. At least, from Roxas's perspective.]

Good.

[kivaember]

[Sighs and shakes his head, before suddenly chuckling] You know, you remind me of someone... [Roxas was so curt and grumpy...he was like his little brother.]

[coolerthansora]

...I get that a lot.

[kivaember]

Yeah... [peers closely at the SFC monitor for a long moment] You even have the hair and eyes. Although you're too short and scrawny looking to be identical. You remind me of my little brother. He's such a grumpy, serious guy. Ahhh, he's cute though, because he's so serious...

[coolerthansora]

Wha--

[Okay, so maybe he is short, but scrawny? Grumpy? Cute? He doesn't know which of these is more objectionable so he's just going to go with a blanket statement.]

I am not!

[kivaember]

You even act like him too! [Gilbert was openly teasing at this point] Next you'll cross your arms and pull that frowny face that's /really/ a pout.

[coolerthansora]

[Roxas doesn't fold his arms that much, but he is pouting. I mean, frowning. He's frowning.]

I don't pout, either.

[kivaember]

[Gilbert was grinning.] You're totally pouting. Aw, you look cute. You're my grumpy Lutz away from home.

[coolerthansora]

I'm not cute! Knock that off!

[kivaember]

[Now Gilbert was positively howling] O-Oh! Oh mein Gott! Ich verkrafte es nicht mehr! You're too cute for me to handle!

[coolerthansora]

[Poor Roxas has no idea how to deal with this. It's completely outside his experience.]

N-no, I'm not! I'm not a kid, okay?

[Because. Kids are cute. Girls are cute. He is neither.]
