[Click! There is now an Eevee on the screen, pawing at the display as though he is trying to break through.
And then there's Maka picking him up and depositing him on her shoulder. She looks somewhat tired and there are books scattered about in the background, but not grouchy at least (unlike the other times Maka lacks sleep).]
His original owner has been gone for some time now, so I guess that means I've officially inherited Pip here.
[A pause as Pip nibbles on one of her pigtails and Maka casts a glance at him.]
That's his name. He's something called a Pokemon, but the problem with that is uh...there's no such thing as Pokemon in my world, so I'm not completely sure how to take care of him. What he needs and all that. There's got to be some people from Pip's world here, or at least people that know how to take care of a Pokemon...
[She picks Pip up again and places him down in front of her to give her pigtail a break as she laughs awkwardly.]
I'm afraid the only pet I've ever had is a cat that can actually tell me what she wants when she wants it, so I'm a little inexperienced...
