No, really, I was. My spirune was shattered, so part of that journey was finding all of the pieces of me and putting them back together.

Oh, um ... wow, maybe I should just prepare a generalized explanation for this. I've had to explain it to a lot of people ...

Anyway, In my world, spirunes and spiria are terms used a lot. Spiria is kind of the word used to describe someone's heart or soul, while the Spirune is the physical form of the heart or soul.

Those of us who can use soma are actually able to go into peoples' spirunes and find out what's wrong, if a person is acting abnormally. There are monsters known as zerom that can infest the spirune, and we have the capability to defeat them and return someone to normal that way, if there is something wrong with their spirune to begin with.

If it's not done carefully, though, it can cause some pretty bad reactions, and the worst case scenario is that a spirune can completely shatter. If that happens, it's .. not pretty. Someone with a shattered spirune basically loses all of their emotions and all of the personality traits that makes that person themselves.

I ended up shattering my own spirune to protect someone.
