[Axel has been asleep for a little while, a little more than a week, actually, and when he finally wakes up he finds himself staring up at his ceiling, his vision blurry and body colder than it usually should be. Groaning softly he blinks a couple of times and then reaches out for his SFC which is thankfully still on the bedside table. With it switched on, he tries to figure out the date and the time, but his brain is kind of not functioning properly just yet.]

Mm. What day is it?

...And why's it so cold? Thought it was spring already.

[Nevermind that he isn't wearing his Organization coat right now either. Maybe that explains it.]

[For anyone that wants to bother him, Axel will be under his covers as a giant lump. He doesn't want to get up, but make him do it anyway.]

Guess you're not coming out anytime soon then.

[Maybe he'll just go sit on the edge of your bed. If that's cool.]

Gee, where'd you get that idea.

[Go ahead, bro. It's not like Axel minds. Just don't sit on him and we'll be fine.]

Hn. I don't wanna get up at all.

[He's not gonna sit on you. The thought of tickling does cross his mind, but he is probably more ticklish than you.]

Even after being asleep that long?

[Don't you even dare.]

Hmph. You're the one that's been passed out the longest. Shouldn't you know how tired you can feel after that?

[Axel pushes back the covers a little more so that he can look at Roxas better. Back in their World, the kid had been in and out of sleep comas like it was going out of style, after all.]

[Hey, it wasn't that many!]

Well- yeah, but I wouldn't wanna lose any more time, you know?

[In Axel's mind it is.]

Time? For what? It's not like there's much to do around here...

I don't know.

[It's not like Roxas was ever good at coming up with things to do.]

Guess I'm still just glad I have time.

...Mm.

[Axel shifts a bit under the covers as he thinks. He supposes that he's also glad that Roxas has time, too. This maybe isn't the best place for that, but at least it's time, right? He hums thoughtfully and shuts his eyes again just to rest them for a moment before he quietly responds.]

Me too.

[Roxas is quiet for a moment, looking over at his friend. He keeps hearing it's not the best place, but so far? It's been pretty awesome. He gives Axel a soft nudge.]

Don't fall asleep on me.

[Axel chuckles softly and opens his eyes again.]

Don't be such a worry-wort.

I'm not worried, I just...

[He shrugs.]

You're not much fun when you're asleep.

Oh, yeah? [That's real cute, Roxas. Demyx might disagree with that, though, because he'd probably think of many things to do to mess with him in his sleep that would be "fun." Axel sighs.]

...Haven't you been doing other things to keep you preoccupied in the meantime?

[Axel being asleep shouldn't hinder that.]

[Roxas doesn't really do pranking. Yet.]

It's not like I've been hanging around in your room the whole time. But you are my best friend.

[It's difficult to do best friend things when one of you is unconscious.]
