[Maka can't be seen in this dream, which is a bit unusual as any quick check of the user ID would show that it's her SFC-turned-Dreamberry that's making this broadcast. No, all anyone would be able to see is this strange creature wandering around what's presumably Maka's dreamscape. Even for Maka's lack of imagination, this creature seems decidedly...lame, it can't be a construct of hers. What is it? What's the point of it?

Then it starts talking.

And talking.

And talking.]

[There's a clatter and the dream abruptly ends, soon Maka appears on the screen having apparently just woken up from sleeping at her desk. She finally notices the Dreamberry and scowls at it, muttering to herself "how lame" before reaching over and turning off the feed.]

Excalibur. He's a very old Weapon that spends most of his time in a cave far away from anything else waiting for someone that can wield him.

Of course when I say "wield" I mean "someone that can tolerate him for longer than a few hours."

But I doubt a person like that exists.

I didn't even know the legend of Excalibur existed in other worlds!

...I'm sort of jealous, if that's the case he's probably not sentient in the other worlds. My world is the apparently the only one where people turn into weapons.

Excalibur is most famously known as King Arthur's legendary blade. From what I remember, I haven't heard of it talk in the legends.

Yeah, he talks about his time spent with King Arthur, too. Not sure how much of it is true and how much of it is his memory getting mixed up.

...I think if he starts running out of breath, that's when he takes time for tea breaks. But then he just keeps talking anyway so maybe he doesn't.
