I've, ah, said some rather surprising and rude things to a few of the store owners today... o-of course not all of them were necessarily true, but I didn't meant to say them out loud!

I... is this a common occurrence today? I'm quite frightened of what I'm going to say-- Oh, I hate this place so much!

[She covers her mouth in a little gasp! Yeah, confessions like that.]

[She pretend to hide something behind her back, practically bouncing from excitement, herself.]

[And so he does. Holding out a hand that is a whole load bigger than her.]

[She hops on, and takes her hands out from behind her back. But she's not holding anything...

Instead, she takes the necklace off of her neck, and holds it out for Gamzee to take with his free hand. You know, the miracle necklace.]

This is a very important stone, Gamzee. My husband left it for me--

...But now, I'm giving it to you.

Well, actually it is a teeny tiny necklace, but still.]

I... I can't take that. That's all like your important memories.

I don't need this silly thing! This place had me use it once, I doubt it'll be needed again.

It needs to be kept away from dangerous and greedy people. It's very powerful, and I can't even begin to imagine how it works. And I won't live long enough to protect it anyway.

...I know it's safe in your hands, Gamzee. And... maybe, it will help you remember me, too.

[He flinches for just a moment at the mention of her dying. That is something he will never get used to.]

[his free hand shoots up to his eyes, rubbing at them for a moment.]

Haha, you are up and making me feel like leaking again.

[Hopefully you're not too ticklish, as she scurries up your arm and onto your shoulder so she can pat your face with her little paw.]

There, there. Don't be sad, Gamzee!

[He turns his head slightly into her tiny paw pats, trying not to dislodge her from his shoulder.]

[She nuzzles him, rubbing her nose and whiskers on his cheek.]

Then I'm very happy. Even if I hate this place... I love you, Gamzee. You're the only reason I think I haven't gone mad in this place!

[He wishes he could nuzzle back, but he is pretty sure one push of his nose would send her falling.]

You must have a real nice home.

It has its problems, but it is my home. I grew up in it, after all, and raised my children.
