[Rin has been in Vatheon all of a week. His first day he got in to a fight with Masaru and was chastised by Zelda for nearly brawling near the coral, but since then it's been quiet for him.

And he's already bored.

He's staring at the SFC, chin in his hand, tapping fingers on the table off screen. Eventually he lets out a sigh and straightens, running hands through his hair with an additional huff.]

So. I can't train here, not like I can back home since Shura is gone again. And I'm pretty sure I can't go to school here either.

[Oh please let that be true. Please please please.]

So... what the hell else is there to do? Like... can I get a job even though I don't need money?

[he slumps back in his chair, hanging over the back rest with his arms down at his sides and his head tilted back. He spins around in it so he's facing the SFC again, though now looking at it upside down.]

Just... gimmie somethin' to do! Please! I'm gonna go insane if I take one more pointless walk to the plaza again...

[Help a demon out, Vatheon.

Or torment him.

There's that option, too.]

Have you considered joining the Defense Force? That would help you with your boredom, not to mention it might give you potential training partners as well.

That's right. I'm a member as well, though in the support and relief unit. We patrol the city looking for abnormalities and help out if there's ever an attack or other crisis.

[Well, he's trying to. This probably won't keep him from getting in to trouble still, but the effort is at least admirable.

He leans forward and fiddles with his SFC, pulling up the link and reading over it. His tail sways behind him, showing that he's at least curious about it.]

Huh... it's kinda like being an exorcist, I guess...

[he scratches at his head, finally looking back at the video feed]

Would I have to do any training? 'cause I'm still kinda... I mean I only got up to Exwire before I got dropped here, so I'm not... really an exorcist yet.

[He doesn't want to admit that, but if she's on the Defense Force she'll find out sooner or later, and it's better to not lie about his actual rank back home.]

[Damn English names. That's weird for him to say for some reason. But he's not so stupid as to realize "Mrs." is a married title and therefore she's probably older than him. That's instant respectful honorific right there.

But then there's the issue of uh... being company to a talking mouse. What.

Though... is it really that different than spending time with Kuro? He treats his familiar like a friend, not a pet after all.

After a pause he laughs nervously and rubs the back of his neck sheepishly]
