[Rin has been in Vatheon all of a week. His first day he got in to a fight with Masaru and was chastised by Zelda for nearly brawling near the coral, but since then it's been quiet for him.

And he's already bored.

He's staring at the SFC, chin in his hand, tapping fingers on the table off screen. Eventually he lets out a sigh and straightens, running hands through his hair with an additional huff.]

So. I can't train here, not like I can back home since Shura is gone again. And I'm pretty sure I can't go to school here either.

[Oh please let that be true. Please please please.]

So... what the hell else is there to do? Like... can I get a job even though I don't need money?

[he slumps back in his chair, hanging over the back rest with his arms down at his sides and his head tilted back. He spins around in it so he's facing the SFC again, though now looking at it upside down.]

Just... gimmie somethin' to do! Please! I'm gonna go insane if I take one more pointless walk to the plaza again...

[Help a demon out, Vatheon.

Or torment him.

There's that option, too.]

[ Because really, she's kind of a mediocre cook herself. She knows enough to make things good enough to eat, but they're nothing spectacular. ]

Well... yeah. But some one [by which he means a demon] I knew once told me that if you make some one happy with your cooking, that's all that should matter.

[he gives her a goofy grin]

I don't think we'll have a problem gettin' along either though.

That's some pretty sound advice, actually. Food is good. But I definitely think there's a lot more to friendship than that.

He's going to start flipping tables over naming conventions sooner or later]

... Oh, so it's a language thing? That's kind of interesting, I guess ...

[ She doesn't understand it at all. But hey, he does, and that's all that matters? ]

It's interesting, though. There are a lot of people here who come from completely different places, cultures, and backgrounds.

Not many Japanese though...

[he's... weirdly disappointed about that. For some reason. Probably because he misses familiarity.]

Miso is the best thing in the entire world! My world, and this world, and all of the words! I put it on everything I eat. It just doesn't seem right without it, y'know?

Everything? Wow. Can't say I've tried that before. But it makes me wanna try new recipes!

[his tail is going again, even as he starts thinking aloud]

I'd need some ingredients... I wonder if potato cakes go good with miso...

[ brb, can't talk, watching your tail. ]

[waving hand in front of the camera now]

[ krngkrng shaking her head. ]

You have a tail!

[ NOT THE BEST THING TO BLURT OUT but she did anyway. derp. ]

[it curls behind him a bit, pausing over his right shoulder]

Kinda comes with bein' a half demon.

[ BRB staring at tail again ... that's kinda cool. ]

Well, you don't seem like a mean demon or anything. Nothing like in the fairy tales!
