[Video] What it means to be a Nobody.

[ The SFC seems to click on accidentally. Sora's hands moving away from it, so perhaps the blue-eyed boy managed to hit it on accident.

[ One knee was pulled up and he was looking out across the cityscape with a completely blank expression on his face. Anyone that knows the keyblade master should recognize there's something off about that. ]

Is this what it feels like?

[ Sora lifts up his hand and places it over his chest where his heart should be. ]

What sort of bad things?

[ He paused for a moment, realizing that maybe Ruca didn't want to talk about this sort of stuff. ]

It's okay if you don't want to tell me.

_{[he's silent for a while.]}

It's a really long story...

I think we both have time, if you want to tell it.

Um... Alright... But first of all I need to tell you something about my world.

Actually, there used to be two worlds there - the world of humans, Naraka and the world of gods, Devaloka...

[ Sora nodded, different worlds weren't anything new to him, so he understood that much. ]

Um, in exchange for prayers gods gave humans power called artes and there was balance maintained between the two worlds... Until Devaloka was destroyed and everything was lost together with it. Naraka became an unstable world, where natural disasters begun to occur. Soon also a war has started.

[ Sora frowned a bit. He wanted to ask why Devaloka had been destroyed, or who had done it, but he didn't want to interrupt the others story either. ]

_{[Ruca sighs.]}

Even though the power of artes has been lost together with gods, surprisingly people who could still use them appeared out of nowhere. They were feared by others, though and so, referred to as "Fallen" they were treated as a threat, even if they did nothing wrong. Some even blamed those people for the destruction of Devaloka and believed that they appeared on Naraka to destroy it, too.

But that wasn't true.

Were...were you one of them?

_{[He hesitates, not sure if he should answer that question or not.

Though, from the way he looks, the answer is pretty obvious.]}

[ Yeah, the answers pretty obvious. ]

What happened Ruca?

_[Siiigh.]

I... I used my powers to help someone and then... a lot of crazy things happened.

_{[like he couldn't return to his home any longer, was arrested, sent to a battlefield, ran way from there, almost got himself killed, almost killed himself, was betrayed number of times... things like that.]}

[ Sora frowned and looked down. He knows how that feels a bit. He can still remember King Triton telling him that all the keybearer could bring was destruction and chaos even though that was exactly what Sora was trying to stop. ]

It's not your fault Ruca.

Not... my fault? ...You're right, but... I can't help, but feel sometimes that everything was my fault from the very start.

_{[If it wasn't for his wish in his past life, maybe everything would be different.

Or maybe not? Who knows... But the feeling of blame and regret still were there, somewhere in the depths of his soul.]}

[ Somehow Sora must have hit the nail right on the head. ]

Ruca...You can't keep blaming yourself for something that happened in the past.

[ He thought about Riku. Not having a heart sure did seem to clear up his head a bit. ]

Maybe you didn't make a good choice by doing whatever it was you did, but you thought you were helping people right? That's not wrong. If you were betrayed you can't help that.

_{[that actually... makes Ruca blink. As for someone who didn't know what this was all about, what Sora said was the truth. Even in the past, everything started because he wanted to make the world a better place. At that time he was betrayed, but...]}

You're right... Past can't be changed, but we can do something to change the future... right?

Yeah, and sometimes that means being able to still move on and fight for what's right.

I found out that the Organization was just using me to collect hearts for them, but I couldn't stop what I was doing because in order to save everyone I had to keep fighting.

But I was doing it because it was my choice, and because I knew I was doing the right thing.

Whatever the right thing is Ruca, that's what you need to do. You have to believe in yourself and trust your own judgement.

_{[sounds like you've been through a lot...]}

Believe in myself...? For me it was always the hardest thing to do...

I kinda had a hard time with it at first. My friend Riku was always better than me. He was fast, strong, I was lucky if I managed to beat him in anything, but I knew that only I could do what I needed in order to save the world.

I guess that gave me the strength to keep going, knowing I was the only one who could help my friends.

I think it was the same with me... For as far as I remember the only thing I was ever good at was studying, but then one day I got a chance to help someone... to be of some use to someone. She was the first person who ever relied on me for anything... She also became my first friend...

[ Sora looked down then. Yeah he knew what that felt like too. ]

It's...It's not easy when your friends are who hurt you, but [ Sora frowned a bit. ]

I don't really know the whole situation, and if they just used you then what the did...that's not right.

_{[Ruca quickly shakes his head.]}

No, that's... that's not what happened. _{[he sighs.]} It's really complicated... but she didn't hurt. She never would.

_{[He frowns.]}

But in the past everything was different...

_{[he shakes his head again.]}

I'm sorry... I... It probably doesn't make much sense, does it?

[ Had Sora been able to feel relief right then he would have sighed. Still he knew it was good to hear. ]

It's okay. It sounds like everything was pretty complicated for you.

Yeah... it was. That's why it's so hard to explain everything now...

_{[but maybe he'll tell you the whole story one day.]}

[ Sora nods. If it's easier to tell later, Sora's not going to force him. ]
