Is that a problem?

...Not...
Not necessarily... But.

But what?

This works a lot better when the other persons helps, you know.

[Ugh, this, this was really awkward.]
[Eventually he lifts his arms, and lazily puts the on and kind of around Signless's shoulders.]
no subject
[Wait, is this awkward? Signless has no idea! He just keeps holding on to the Summoner and lays his head against his chest.]
no subject
[In that...
Once Signless really starts to hug him, when he feels those arms lock around him, Lysunder can't help the sink in his chest. It worsens when Signless lays his head down and Summoner can't help but stare down at him. His eyes are still almost closed, eyebrows furrowed, and his hands can't decide what to do, if he should grab onto him. What if hugged back was too much? He already could feel his eyes well up and his face grow hot.]

[He squeezes the Summoner a little tighter, and reaches up with one hand to gently stroke his back, being careful to avoid his wings.]
Shoosh... it's okay... everything's going to be okay...
no subject
[His voice is quiet, not able to see Signless clearly through his almost closed eyelids now, and not because of eyelashes, but because of tears that have started to obscure the view. Summoner's teeth clench and he tenses more, soon closing his eyes entirely, only to feel the orange tinted liquid slide down his cheeks. His hands lift, fingers reluctantly opening before he starts to actually embrace Signless in return.]
[Fingers curl against either side of the other's head, pushing closer and tightening his arms more as he curls around Signless, body jerking from a single sob that manages to jerk out of his lips.]

It's okay, Lysunder... it's okay... let it out, it's okay, shoosh... shoosh...

I wa-wa-want it to be. I do. But I can't be here. I can't be here, Tights...
why are there no pictures of Signless and Summoner together for me to icon?
Your men are waiting for you, Summoner. I'm told that some of the people here in the bubble have gone back to their own time and then returned, and although time passes here, it's like no time at all has passed in their own world.
[He paps along Summoner's back.]
Your men are sleeping peaceful right now, and when they wake up, you'll be there to lead them. Shoosh, Lysunder, shoosh... they won't forget you, and no harm will come to them while you are here.
I know... Maybe I should work on something if I ever get the idea to.
I know, but I still see them. I still hears their cries, I, it's... it's like I bring the war, war with me, w-w-wherever I go.
[He holds him tighter, taking a deep breath.]
I should bring it with, with me, but I, theirs cries haunt me. I can't stay here, I can't let them be ghosts of the past.
0u0... I like the sounds of this plan
[He listens quietly as the Summoner speaks, and even though he's holding him tightly enough to compress his ribs a little, he doesn't move... except for the constantly papping hand along the taller troll's spine.]
I'm so sorry, my friend. I'm so sorry that you can't get any rest while you're here, that this isn't the peaceful sanctuary for you that it is for others.
[He squeezes the Summoner back.]
All I can offer you is my friendship, and I know that isn't a good substitute for your men. I'm sorry I can't do more.
no subject
[His voice is quiet, Summoner's doing his best not to slaughter his words with sobs and chokes.]
Don't say sorry for that, please, I... I'm very thankful to have met you.
no subject
[Signless burrows a little closer, tucking himself into the Summoner's chest.]
Can I tell you a secret?
[He's going to anyway.]
Many times, I've worried that my life was meaningless, that I'd just be erased from history and all my work, all I tried to do, would be waste. Meeting you has helped me realize that wasn't the case, that even after my own death other trolls would take up the fight for equality. So I thank you for that.
