003 ☼ Video

[Tidus is smiling pretty cheerfully when his SFC turns on.]

So, I've been thinking, and it's come to my attention that we live surrounded by water. Which brings me to a question for everyone:

How many of you can swim?

[He stretches his arms out in front of himself before letting them fall at his sides.]

I've also been thinking of what I'm going to do here, and I'm not sure what. But since I have a lot of spare time now, if anyone wants swimming lessons, I'd be happy to teach you.

Since it seems...kind of important and everything.

Hopefully.

It's been a few years since I've done anything of the sort, but yes.

To an extent, I suppose. I take it you enjoy it quite a bit?

Have you been doing it for very long? I imagine that being around so much water would be a good thing for someone who enjoys it so much.

It's certainly taking some getting used to... To be completely honest this is the first time I've actually seen the ocean let alone found myself in it. The closest ones I can recall from my world were at least a nation or two away.

I believe that depends on what your definition of big is. Some places can appear big on a map but in person the population may be smaller than it seems.

Exactly. The scenery could be fine but if the population leaves much to be desired, what would be the point in returning? Especially if it's a foreign land that you know nothing about and the word of others is especially limited.

Some people rely on the word of those they know or trust for guidance but that's only human nature. It's easier to believe someone they know over learning something first hand. Tell me, what would you do if the place you went to turned out to be dangerous? I'm simply curious.

A swimming instructor and a fighter, I see. You've fought before, I take it?
