[Someone finally caved and found an apartment. Holding the SFC, Tidus smiles a little distractedly.]

Check out my new place. I was getting bored with sleeping wherever I was. I don’t feel any different or more mature than I did before, at least not just in one day. I don’t think I would have felt any different if I hadn’t ended up in Spira…but I think that’s normal. Maybe. I’m not sure if it even counts.

[He shrugs.] It's an excuse to eat cake, so whatever.

[And he eats that piece of cake, talking between bites.]

What are your favorite things to do when you have time on your hands?

Yeah, no problem, mate. I really haven't got anything else to do so, whenever you want. I'll let you in on a secret, though, I didn't know anything 'bout the guitar when I started either.

Yes, we all are. However, I am from a different period in our world's time than they are. If it was not for this place, we would never have met, I imagine.

You mean 'endlessly annoy and infuriate', correct?

If you associate happiness with beng infuriated, sure. I think that's how all old people have fun.

Are you grateful to be here for that, or does it just make it harder?

I would consider myself grateful. I had little else waiting for me back on my homeworld, after all. Here, there are chances to do a great many things.
