[As the video feed starts there's not much to see, just a small hand and what looks like a white background. But then that hand pulls away, that white background shifts and you can now see the left half of a young boy's face. The right half is obscured by long, blond hair but anyone familiar with a certain vampire would definitely notice the similarities, despite the utter exhaustion and chapped lips that are plain to see on this little one.

Fai's eyes narrowly open, yet they close again swiftly as he glimpses the light coming from the SFC's screen. The hand closest to the device shoves it away before he curls up more into himself. Even though he's no longer surrounded by snow he feels chilled to the bone- the wet shift and drenched floor-length hair clinging to him were certainly not helping. Something felt wrong about all of this... was he supposed to be here? He had no will or energy to push himself off the ground of the plaza. All he wanted to do was rest. Why wouldn't that light go away?]

[Fai is lounging around, being lazy on the couch in the apartment when his SFC suddenly clicks on. He looks over and reaches out to pick it up, sitting up at the same time. The image that is revealed to him makes him drop the device as his golden eye widens in shock.

It clatters to the floor and he sits there is stunned silence for a moment.]

[He hesitates. Afraid that perhaps the image on that device was just a mirage. That the face of his past is not actually what he has just seen. With a gulp, he hesitantly reaches down and picks up the device, hands shaking..as well as the rest of his body.

He stares at that face, unable to form any words. Unable to believe his eyes. He knows he must respond though. He knows this isn't just a reflection of himself. He knows that this really is his brother that he sees before him.]

Fai...[The name he has adopted. A name he took to honor his brother's memory. Now the owner of that name is right there. He knew this world has the ability to bring back the dead..something even he couldn't accomplish. But never would have have expected this.]

Fai...[It's all he can say at the moment as guilt washes over him as well as many other emotions.]

[He forces his eyes open once more, grumbling, but willing to put up with the brightness because he could have sworn he heard something very, very important. The only voice that had mattered.]

...Yuui?

[That name..a name he hasn't been called in many many years. He closes that golden eye and draws in a very shaky breath. He needs to stay calm. He's always done so well to keep his emotions and insecurities hidden. This is the time when he needs to appear strong.

He opens that eye very slowly and spreads a smile across his face, as if he could use that to apologize for all the wrong he has caused in his lifetime.]

Yes..It's okay now. You're safe.

[He wasn't expecting to hear anybody else after how long he spent in that terrible valley, so when he starts it's in honest surprise. Is there someone actually there? He opens his eyes slowly. There's no one in sight, but he knows what he heard.]

[Best to keep it slow for now. Considering the variety of places Vatheon brings, he knows that not everyone is familiar with the technology that is used here.]

[Slow is good. The kid knows practically nothing about technology, his world relies mostly on magic. Is this star-thing really able to carry different voices in it? He pulls it closer, eyes squinting from the light.]

[At this point he's been told his twin is coming for him, and he's pretty certain all he needs is a good sleep. It's the only thing his body wants right now. Fai rubs at his eyes to try and keep that drive away. Maybe his tiredness is why the shape of whoever is talking to him looks so odd.]

[He nods, unsure of how he wants to react to all of this kindness and concern he's being shown. Is it because people here don't know who he is? The truth is that he does appreciate it. Fai is just not used to receiving it.]

No... I'm from a different world. But I've been living here for a while now...

[Have a very shocked death god staring at you. He knows vampire Fai quite well, though they have drifted apart a bit lately. But he cares enough about his vampire friend to open communication with this particular new arrival.

Unfortunately, he seems to have lost his eloquence.] Uh... Fai-san?

[Fai flinches. Did somebody just call his name? He's not sure how this person would know it. Maybe Yuui gave it to him? It couldn't be anybody from their home country that might recognize him. They're all dead. But then again, he's beginning to think he's supposed to be as well.

Eventually he decides there's not harm in answering this new voice.] Yes?

[Trust him, he's as confused as you, little Fai. Even if he has seen strange things in this world, this is something new. And he doesn't know Fai has a twin, or his real name.

He clears his throat.] I apologize for startling you... You look like someone I know...

[He does the closest thing he can to shaking his head. The boy figures he'll be jumpy for a long while yet, with all these new people and a place he now knows is at least not his home country. That is, if he's actually staying here. He could simply be dreaming.]

It's okay. Do you know Yuui then?

[Now he's even more confused.]

Yuui? I don't know anyone by that name. But there is someone here who looks like you, except that he is older. His name is Fai.

[The kid on the screen looks just like Fai. So Legion comes to the consensus they're related and should make sure his acquaintance's relative is alright.]

[Being contacted by this many people is a little unsettling. The sigh he lets out is shaky, his eyes narrow at the unusual language and another who seems to already know his name. It's harder to be cautious when you're so worn out.]

We apologize for assuming a relation, but there is another Fai here. He is older but looks mostly identical to you.

[This again. If his twin has indeed been using his name, Fai has resolved to question him about it later. He doesn't understand why the other would chose to do such a thing. It would explain all the people being confused by his arrival.

The boy tries to turn his head away from his SFC, but ends up giving up on that action soon enough.]
