[This place was bizarre, at best. Ultimately, he could work with his surroundings, but when it started messing with him (like forcing him into a coma for no reason) that made him worry.

When he first woke up, he spent a good 5 minutes panicking and then another 15 checking himself over before he remembered that people had made posts about 'waking up.' This must have been what they were referring to.

It didn't ease his mind at all. How dare this place rule over him?]

[When he addressed the network, however, his voice was as calm, collected, and smooth, as ever.]

I believe many of you have experienced something akin to a 'coma' while in this place.

I am curious to know: exactly how often does this occur and have there been any noted warning signs or lingering symptoms afterwards?

There are no true warning signs. The only symptoms afterwards occur if your coma lasted long enough to prevent you from touching the coral for over a month. The cause of the comas has been partially uncovered recently, I will send you a link.

I've never gone into a sleep coma, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to them.

Yes, I suspect that would be too simple if such a thing acted as a normal disease or ailment.

Oh, good. The only other thing I could think to mention is check yourself and your home. I don't know how many friends or what kind of friends you've made here, but sometimes the more mischievous bunch like to draw on their friend's faces - although that clearly didn't happen to you - or move stuff around.

I'm afraid this is something still under much speculation save for what has just been discovered.

We've had cases of these sleep comas lasting days to weeks to a month. You aren't the first. I've experienced several in my stay in the city.

I feel as though I merely had a long night.I can remember Thursday night just as clearly as though it were last night and, without warning, I fell asleep on my couch as I was working. I awoke this morning as though nothing had happened.

The same as the others who have experienced this phenomenon have experienced. I assure you, Mister Raffit, this is just something else we have to undergo from staying here.

[ Another pause to consider. ]

There aren't any other symptoms, I'm afraid neither are there any underlying long term effects as far as we've seen. If you wish, I could perform a physical check up.

A coma, you say ? Those things must be more than annoying.

Beyond annoying, I assure you. It seems they are common enough in this place. And unnatural, though that is hardly a surprise.

Yes, all what is around us seem artificial so why not such comas. [A sip.] Do they follow a pattern ?

[Chidori doesn't trust her voice. She'd seen that post made concerning new findings by that goggle girl, and was rather shocked to think that someone had messed with her and she hadn't even known it. So yes, writing it is. No one should hear her. Even if she'd woken up half a week ago. It was scary.

It has been four days since I woke up, and there haven't been any long term effects so far.

I have one more question, if I may, how did you feel when you woke up?

[It was always harder to tell if people really meant what they said through writing, though Chidori has a healthy amount of doubt towards all strangers and their words. This person doesn't mean a thing and is just looking for answers.]

Why are you asking all of these questions in the first place? If you have experienced it yourself and were asking others for their own, then surely you know how it feels to wake up.

[Though for her, waking up was terrifying. At last she had died, only to be brought back to life once more. Someone had tampered with her person to cause the false death. And she wanted no one to know about that.]

I ask because I am curious and because I am trying to see if there is a pattern. To know how I woke up is one perspective, I'm looking for multiple.

And what have you found out so far?

That there is no discernible pattern.

I just did two in a row - the first one was for a week, and then I woke up for a few days, and then it was for a month. I only woke up two days ago.

And I felt sick when I woke up the second time, but that was because I didn't touch the coral for ages.

Nope! I touched it when I woke up, and now I feel fine. It's a bit annoying missing that much, though.

Good day, Mr. Raffit. From what I have heard, it does happen quite often. But the citizens who experience do not seem to be harmed in any way.

Good day, Ms. Durless. I must admit, That's good to hear. I didn't notice anything in my own check-up, but, with the nature of this place, I was uncertain if that would even matter.

We could ask Dr. Muraki, he has been here longer than both of us. But the person I did a check-up on after a sleep coma seemed to be in perfect health. [Except that she was a shinigami.]

I would not want to bother him, I am certain everything is fine. Besides, it sounds as though no one else who has been in a coma has suffered from it except inconvenience.

[Also that whole having a strange power thing. Don't really want that coming out.]

There are neither that I have noticed, as I only recently experienced one myself.

It seems side-effects are not in the norm, if I am to trust the experiences of others here.

That is true. It may change, but thus far, the foreigners here are catered to in a variety of ways, and things such as curses and comas remain passing troubles.
