Um... I wanted to apologize to a couple people for last week. I said some stupid things and- it was probably really frustrating.

I've been thinking about having some things of my own, and... I think the last day of summer would be good for a birthday. It still seems weird to just pick, but- I guess I've gotta turn 16 sometime.

[He pauses, looking like he has something else he wants to say, but his cheeks pink a bit and he just turns off the feed.]

He surprised me! I was workin' the Charity Day alone so I didn't even know he was there until he showed up at the club. Even wound up helpin' me in the kitchen so we could catch up while I worked.

Eh, not really. He leaves it to me. But that doesn't mean he can't cut an onion or two, yehknow? He just wanted to help since I was so backed up and he'd just gotten there.

He wasn't. He just- didn't decide we were friends right away.

Well, people seem to go either way, so...

I didn't have any friends because people were afraid of me. Yukio didn't have any friends because his nose was stuck in a book all day. Not exactly the most normal guys around...

Difference is now I actually do have friends and I'm pretty cool with havin' more. Might not go about it the right way all the time but whatever, people don't seem to care. And Yukio still acts like a damned iceberg to most people he meets right off so... don't expect him to be all buddy buddy with you right off.

Eh... probably wasn't. But I've lived with him, yehknow? I've had to put up with him on his bad days.

[Not that he doesn't love his brother any less. They're twins, after all, and not having him around was like missing something important for months.]

[Can you tell he's contemplating a sea-salt ice cream cake? But it seems like a tricky flavor. Maybe another time.]

Well it depends on what kinda cake you want. Usually better to start with that then figure out the ice cream flavor. 'cause not everything goes together, yehknow?

I like strawberry myself so I'd do a white cake with strawberry ice cream, but that's just me.
