[Rin looks surprisingly distant and thoughtful today. He's lacking his two usual modes - growling and pissed off or cheerful and derpy. He's just sort of... there.

As much as he wanted to believe it wasn't going to bother him, what Maka revealed is getting to him. And it's not even necessarily the relation to the other two that's bothering him. It's more the other questions he has on his mind.

But for the public post, he has a purpose aside from that.

Oh and he totally has a Kuro sleeping on his head]

Hey uh... if anyone wants any free lunches already made and you don't wanna bother with the lines at the restaurants today, I grabbed a buncha leftovers from the ball we had frozen and made some. I got way more than even everyone in the Villa is gonna eat, so I figured I'd just give 'em away.

[He holds one up. It's got a rather interesting assortment, not strictly Japanese since there was a pretty good assortment of cultures represented in the food at the masquerade. But whatever, they still look damn good. And Rin has enough bento boxes behind him on the counter to feed about twenty people. How the hell does he do that?

[Rin holds up a picture Amaimon.]

And he's harassin' you or whatever, just send him my away, okay? I'll deal with him.

[He pauses, then continues with with quite a bit of reluctance in his voice, with a tone of some one who is struggling to accept something but knows that he has to sooner or later.]

Just... just tell 'im "little brother" is lookin' for him.

That's it.

[He goes to turn off the SFC, but stops and frowns, switching the filter one last time.]

[This is strange but cute. Kind of.]

Ok ! And don't worry, Cinnamon is more a curious puppy than anything else. So I don't think that your two cats risk something around him. [Wait... What do you mean by 'not a normal cat' ?

The communication then abruptly ends as Asato makes his way to the Villa. He is soon there, Cinnamon on his heels.]

(OOC: Asato should be able to feel that Rin is not totally human. Is that ok for you ? And can he ask about this ?]

Rin is waiting out front for people to show up and claim lunches, relaxed against the steps of the house with a couple of boxes next to him. Inside a radio is playing, loud enough to be heard out of the open window but quiet enough to not be annoying.

There is a fuffy gray kitten, maybe six months old, resting on the porch near by. He looks up when the approach, but he doesn't seem bothered by the puppy at all.

And of course Kuro is still snoozing away on Rin's head.]

[Cinnamon immediatly rushes towards the kitty to sniff it. Hi, hi ! Who are you ?

Asato follows him, smiling, holding his hand out to Rin. That's when he feels it, that not totally human soul, powerful but apparently not threatening. He looks more closely at the young man, oblivious of the cat sleeping on his head. Bright blue eyes, pointy ears, tail...

Definitively a supernatural creature. Like Asato, in fact.]

[Aureilo opens his eyes lazily at the puppy, and rolls over, fat belly making him sort of rock back and forth. He paws at the puppy's face gently, obviously not scared. Rin had forgotten Aurelio was around other animals before he adopted him.

The teen takes the offered hand as he stands up, Kuro still not moving. At the comment, he just grins, tail swaying back and forth.]

Yup!

[Cinnamon barks a little at the pawing. What is that new game ?

Well, a tailed boy with a sleeping cat on his head, it's not something that you see everyday. But better be polite before showering the boy with questions.]

I am Tsu... Asato Tsuzuki.

[It's "I was sleeping you big barking thing, let me sleep."

Aurelio is almost as lazy as Kuro. Almost.

Rin blinks, and suddenly perks up.]

H-hey! Are you Japanese?

[Sleeping ? Oh, this is a nice game ! Can I play to ? And Cinnamon is as lazy as Asato.

The young Shinigami smiles at Rin's reaction.]

Ah, yes ! Are you Japanese too ?

[Yes, just don't disturb him. He likes his naps in the day so he can torment Rin and Maka at night.]

Uhuh! [And he gives a proper handshake this time.] Okumura Rin. Nice t' meet ya!

[Ok ! Cinnamon lies down in a sunny spot and stretches. Naps are always good, whatever the time is.]

Yes, very nice, Rin-kun ! It's always great to meet people from home.

[Good. Aurelio is just going to doze back off. So many sleepy animals today...]

[Rin was feeling pretty down before, and while this doesn't change his current situation at all, he's definitely feeling a little better.]

Oh, uh, there's a couple different ones to pick from, so you can look through until you see one you like.

[Yes, that must be the weather.

Asato smiles and nods. For some reason, he feels good around Rin.]

[He moves to look at the bento boxes. They're all so yummy, it will be hard to choose !]

Rin-kun... May I ask you something ?

[Rin flops down next to the pets, reaching out to give them both belly rubs. Aurelio stretches and curls his little limbs, rolling in to Rin's hand.]

Yeah? Shoot.

[Belly rubs ? The world is magical.]

You are not totally human, right ? [Straight to the point, Asato, congratulations.]

Heh. Pretty obvious, innit?

[Rin's tail sways slowly, and his grin shows off his fangs a bit.]

Nope. Just half.

Yes... [Ok, that was a stupid question.]

And what is the other half ?

[Don't worry, it's not like Rin has any room to call on stupid questions.]

[Asato let's the bento box he's holding fall, his hand trembling.]

D-demon ?

[Oh shit. That was a reaction he hadn't gotten in a while. He wasn't expecting it at all.]

H-hey... ! You don't need to freak out, I'm... m-mostly harmless! Just-- ... I'm mostly human, I swear! I ain't gonna hurt you, if that's what you're worried about!

[Asato quickly leans to pick up the mess he made, avoiding to look at Rin. Damn, the kid probably thinks he's a stupid freak now.]

Ah, no ! I-it's not that ! I-I'm not afraid... of you...

[Not really. He's more confused than anything.]

Th-then what's with that reaction... ? You look pretty freaked...

[Asato pauses, avoiding looking at Rin. He closes his eyes and when he speaks again, his voice is only a whisper.]

I am half-demon too...

[Okay whoa why are you happy about that, Rin? He sure as hell isn't.

Bring it back in, Okumura.]

Er... s-sorry...

[Don't worry, Rin, Asato can understand the happiness. If his nature wasn't such a burden for him, he also would be glad to meet someone else like him.]
